My 11/16 received submission was shipped on 12/16. I was hoping for 13 - 9.8's, 2 - 9.6's and 1 - 9.4. Instead I got 7 - 9.8's, 6 - 9.6's, 2 - 9.4's and 1 - 9.2. Either I'm getting worse at grading or CGC is tightening their grading a bit. Unfortunately, it's likely the former. On a side note, my 11/12 submission is still in SFG. I contacted CGC on Friday and they said the books were being encapsulated.

It's typically 2-10 business days, with the latter being the norm these days. However, 3 weeks does seem a bit long. Did you check when CGC actually picked up the books vs. them arriving at the USPS office?

Interesting that my 11/16 received / SFG modern slow track has moved to grading, but the 11/12 hasn't.

As usual, my modern slow track that were SFG on 11/12 have not moved to grading yet. It just seems like my last few submittals have all been about a week behind schedule.

Not to mention mail delivery issues. These days it takes over 3 weeks from the time you ship your books to when they are received by CGC.

Were the books being pre-screened as well? My last Walkthru press job took 4.5 weeks because of the prescreening.

Hopefully they can expedite the quick press for you a bit after this snafu.

Definitely, especially if grading notes show non color breaking creases.

I would call and ask again. For instance, my modern slow track pressed books took 74 business days to press (received 7/28) and have been sitting at SFG since 11/12. I also have another quick press submittal that was received 11/16 (they haven't charged me yet, which is typical). I hate to say it, but it does seem like your books went to grading right away.

My last 2 press jobs went from CCS to SFG as well. Unfortunately, it took 74 and 78 business days, respectively. Are they moderns, and did they charge you $8 per book? 20 business seems super quick.

Final went into Scheduled for Grading today.

Three days later and these books still haven't been marked as received by CGC. Of course the turnaround times for quick press went up to business 72 days (mine are at 78 now) . I don't think I've ever went this long without any updates on my various submissions.

I contacted CGC about my modern quick press submission that was received on 8/18. They noted the books have been pressed and are in the process of being transferred to CGC.

I've had zero updates on my package since it was accepted by USPS last Thursday. I'm not too concerned with the arrival time, but USPS did lose a $500 book I shipped recently.

Is anyone else having any issues with delayed shipping? I mailed out a package to CGC via USPS priority mail last Thursday and it still hasn't been processed through the sorting facility in my state.

Wow, modern went up from 28 to 40 days as well. My quick press moderns are sitting at 73 business days now (current turnaround is 69 days).

I've noticed very few updates this week regarding books being graded / shipped. Paging greggy.

I took it to mean that both pressing and grading beat the turnaround times for the Standard submission. Pressing took 11 instead of 15 business days, while grading and shipping took 9 days instead of 15 (actually CGC also factors in the shipping time in their estimate). I could be wrong though.

"Standard" grading current turn around time for CCS is 15 business days.

That's good. Mine was received 8/18..............still waiting.

Mine took 10 business days last time, so hopefully your books will be received today. I've mentioned this before, but when CGC falls a couple of weeks behind with respect to recording books received, the packages received during any given week likely get jumbled together.
