Well I was saving the rest of the story to start at the begining of the arc and was going to do that this weekend I thought the cover was a masterpiece really and would enjoy seeing it everyday

I saw an 8.5 sold for 3K and a #33 sold for 3.5K i think unless those were really old prices....I looked all over Heritage, CL and all the usual spots including Ebay!

I gotta say I like the sound of a 9.8 although bc is going to say the 9.9 will come up! They always say don't buy the grade though don't they, as in deer in headlights 9.8.....

Thanks for your expertise Maritin So go for a 9.0 not an 8.5 with good centering and off white pages? I have never bought a high value book and until now my most expensive is a $70 Tarzan CGC! So this is a big step. I am forgoing a scooter on this one! A comic book nut I guess

Oh no being swayed back! I had originally thought that as was drawn to the top 13 or so issues....but sone might be over inflated by movies such as ASM# Mysterio IMHO it should be of equal value to another villain like Electro not higher. But maybe thats because of the white cover scarcity etc. By the time I am done with you guys I will end up with a 3.0 for number #2 LOL! Thanks Martin!

I started reading a reprint but have not gotten to #33 yet. Yes one of the things I would really value is loving the story as well as the art inside a book as well, even though I doubt I would ever crack it open!

Thank you so much bc. I have been looking at a lot of them and wondered why they are all mis-wrapped. Too right. I have literally only seen 2 white pages copies one in a 9.8 and one in a 9.2 I think. I think that maybe as they were Silver age white might be very thin on the ground. Slippery slope but would you go for white pages, pretty good centering or off white to white and not so good centering 9.8? Or does that take us back to ASM #9 LOL!

That is a lot! Hmmmm now I am in a quandry! But sounds like I shouldn't be and get on the ASM# 33 bandwagon as you guys suggest.

I always thought of what your money can buy, of course I love both books equally in different ways, and have been saving for a long time now. Do you think even though it is ' not a "key" like the first appearance of Electro then it being a 9.8 it trumps that? Or will it not hold it's value as it is a randomish issue? Thanks again

Hi all you geniuses on this board I need your expert advice. If you had the chance to either buy an Amazing Spiderman #33 in 9.8 0r 9.6 OR for the equivalent money an Amazing Spiderman #9 in either 8.5 or 8.0 which would it be and why? Thank you you for any feedback all!
