This massive and delightful tome arrived in the mail today, in surprisingly nice condition considering it's voyage from overseas! A catalog for an exhibition in Spain that happily includes English text along with Spanish! Crazy book that I stumbled onto a couple of weeks ago, totally unaware of it's existence!
I got it. Very rich tome. Recommended.

I think the prices on eBay are probably pretty reasonable, given their scarcity and size. I just need to actually budget myself to get one, I haven't paid that much for any of my undergrounds so far.
Budget is always an issue. There are a couple of lovely items on ebay right now, for ~500$ each, really too much for me.
I got the Gothic Blimp Works years ago for decent prices, they are not so uncommon on ebay (or abebooks). -

I think at this point not having a single issue of Gothic Blimp Works is probably the most annoying gap in my admittedly limited underground collection. They just don't seem to turn up!
There are several copies on e-bay. What would you consider fair market prices?
This one https://www.ebay.com/itm/186064558466, looks pretty good, for a decent price. -

I attended a book presentation with Crumb in Lucca, Italy, a few years ago,
and he commented with disdain that somebody at Playboy (Hefner himself?) had demanded
that Kurtzman redraw some details of some of his tables. For sure, Kurtzman was a giant, and Crumb's respect is deserved and due.

Gamut #1 (Gary Delain, 1960), early (earliest?) contribution from Robert Crumb, by a 5-page Winnie the Phoo parody.
Sold on Heritage Auction for $ 840 (2023 August 3, Harvey Kurtzman & The Art of Humbug Comic Art Showcase Auction, lot #81073)
On May 12, 2006 a (different) copy of Gamut #1 was sold for $3,107.00 (lot #3218).
Very nice item.

Hi, is there a "how to" in terms of posting comics for sale? I have read the Marketplace Rules but I can't figure out the logistics of how to actually post. Also, once I get that figured out, does anyone know the best place to list underground comix? Thanks very much. Matt

You got me! It is difficult to hide my accent.

The Bogeyman ones, or the C... one?

I don't understand 'tough a little creepy'. I don't know how to answer the question you pose.
According to Google, creepy = causing an unpleasant feeling of fear or unease.
I was just curious if you have a professional interest, say as a criminal lawyer, a criminologist, or a policeman, or maybe ... :-).
Sorry, I didn't mean to open a thread about personal matters. Forget. -

a large underground collection.
Hi, maybe you may list it here. I am sure some of us are curious on what you may have.
Anyway, I buy on e-bay, and I am generally very satisfied.

Maybe just a couple of pictures of the shelves?
That would be great. (if you feel like to show, I respect your privacy) -
I see, Thanks.

That list of his needs to be updated to include his book on Jim Osborne!
ya, correct, and I missed it :-(
Was that on paper, I just see a Kindle edition?
https://www.patrickrosenkranz.info/jim-osborne does not say too much about the book.
