Thanks for the compliments! Selling this because I just picked up a 9.6 and this just became my undercopy but still tough to let go because of the perfect wrap on this copy.

Can you reference the two auction prices? Can't seem to find them in the GPA are they some where else?
Both on clink which doesn't report to GPA

I'll second that 1. What gives ??
I've never been able to find the actual selling prices on eBay. If you go off eBay, it just says $44,000 crossed out and "best offer accepted". Watchcount provides the bid history for the 1.0. 4 unique bidders in total (if you omit the multiple bids from the same user):
$36k, $27.5k, $20k, $20k

most significant = FF48. If it wasn't readily available across grades it would be worth a ton more.

I'm not sure if I dreamed this, but I could swear I saw a 9.6 show up on MCS maybe a few weeks ago, but I can't find any trace of it now. Asking price was around $15-18k. Anyone else see that or am I losing my mind?
It was there. $15k asking. In my opinion priced pretty low. I went back intending to hit the buy it now and can't find it anymore

Brian responded to my WTB posting for a 5-figure golden age key and it was smooth sailing thereafter. very easy to deal with and the book was shipped out immediately in rock solid packaging. No hesitation to buying from Brian again.
Thanks again!

The 0.5 went to a boardie ?
congrats on the book! It's a great looking copy.
I dropped out of the bidding on this one once I struck a deal for a 1.5 with a fellow boardie.

I figure it wouldn't hurt to post here as well but if anyone has a 7.5-8.0 copy they would be open to selling drop me a message!

Showcase 22 cgc 5.0 with ow/w pages - sold!
Those looking for a Showcase 22 know it's relatively difficult to find this book in ow/w pages. The 6.0 ow/w pager just sold on Heritage for $9261. Great colors on this particular copy.

Bought a 5-figure book from Joey. Great communication and he was super patient throughout the process. Would not hesitate to deal with him again.

This was a sweet copy with nice PQ.
I suspect this was a fake sale
- auctioned only for one day
- ending time at 6:25am (who ends it then?)
- if you look at the feedback the same guy keeps winning all this sellers comic book auctions and leaving positive feedback (those were one day, 1 bid auctions too)
i could be wrong, but seems unlikely. $7,000 is too cheap for an ow/w 6.0

Bought a 4 figure book from Dave and it was a great experience. Easy communication and quickly shipped. Would not hesitate to buy from him again.

Did a 4-figure cash+trade deal with Kevin. Very easy to deal with and wouldn't hesitate to deal with again.

Bought an early silver-age key Tec off Andrew and very happy with how things turned out. Very quick with responding to messages and book was shipped well packed and exactly when promised

probably some of the difference is page quality. The $14.5k sale was a white pager and last night was off-white

Please feel free to leave feedback here!
Thx!
Bigger SA Key: Tec 359 or Batman 181?
in Silver Age Comic Books
Posted · Edited by Riddler
the tec359 is probably more significant and valuable... but census numbers for bat 181 is lower in high grade so i think there's some scarcity value there
