100,00 retailer spaces for newsstand means nothing. Barns and noble for example no longer even carries marvel titles. Fact. DC and Bongo (go figure). Many others carry very few titles if any at all. Your argument holds no more weight than the 10% claim.

Yea 115 is a great pick! As 110 flies further out of most people's price range, 115 is the book to go to. For my budget I cannot spend the going price for even 115. So my "go-to" Strange book is 169. It all has a trickle down effect in the end THE BEAUTY OF COMIC COLLECTING!

Those 2nd and 3rd appearances are still within reach to even a moderate collector and great stories to boot!

There should be no argument..Deadpool is deadpool. Cable is Cable. I love the deadpool movie but never liked his comic. I grew up on Cable and believe he is a very good Character. It's all a matter if opinion. Who's more popular? OK..I didn't know it was a popularity contest . Sure Deadpool is more popular and know "pop culture wise". So what?? Most of these people are not even comic readers. It's all good I say but to imply Cable is a scrub is ubsurd. But actually that normal for posers who are only jumping on the bandwagon due to "popularity". If you are a comic fan in heart...you appreciate everything for what it truly is..not just the latest fade.

In my opinion Doctor Strange 169 is still a good value with room for growth. Very affordable at 100 bucks give or take for solid mid-grade copies raw. With a potential of upping the grade with a press. I just bought one for an even hundred 5.0. I'm very happy with the book. I am not an investor I am a collector with a very modest budget. Don't get me wrong, I do like and take pride in books that hold value. Price and collectability here is big. I always like the Doc. and I believe this character is going to click with alot of new fans.
