  1. I can't believe a cgc 9.2 is fetching that amount. Then again, I believe only 1 copy grades higher. I wonder if someone on the boards did pick it up and is planning on making a flip on it. Apparently there is a buyer at the $575.
  2. 9.2 is the grade I focus on as the 9.4 and up grade seems to draw out the big spenders. However the first several issues of the HofM and HofS are a pain to find in 9.0 and above so there is competition in those grades for that range of issues. In HofS 81-91 not a single 9.6 sale has been recorded yet. Thats goes back to 2002. I wondered what price a 9.6 would fetch in the market. Anyway, welcome to the boards.
  3. I see issue 200 a lot. I'm going to check the census on this because I think it is proabably one of the most easiest to attain in high grade. Good thing it has a cool cover.
  4. Lots of #200 available. I sold my HOM 200 9.6 copy for only $125 to a fellow board member.
  5. Anybody on the boards selling the HofM 176 in cgc 9.2 on comiclink?
  6. They'll be going out within the month. I hope to get them back ASAP just like everyone else does. I can't wait to get my CGC Signatures back from NYCON. I have 2 from Eric Powell and 2 from Todd Mcfarlene.
  7. By the way, I got some DC Horror books going to CGC for grading in the next few weeks. Here is what I am hoping/expecting : Withcing Hour 4 ---- 9.0 maybe 9.2. A 9.2 would make it single highest on census One if it is a 9.0 but if a 9.2 House of Mystery 190 ---9.0 at minium but more like a 9.2. Really want that 9.2 on this as that is the grade I focus on. This one gets House of Mystery 188 ---- 9.2 at minium but a real good shot at 9.4/9.6. A 9.6 would make it the single highest on census. Gets Now that I posted this I hope they come through,. I'll update you all in June when I get them back.
  8. Thanks for the great TTA 100 arexcrooke. It has found a new home. :cloud9
  9. Actually, there's been several BA horror books that have come up in batches...probably from the same collection. I'd be interested in knowing whose books they are....the certification numbers do look like Heritage submitted them though . What other issues are you noticing? There seems to be a lot of HOM200 and 2233 when I'm looking.
  10. Missed it. Maybe my searched expireed. I need to recheck it.
  11. Is just me or has it been a long time since a good amount of nice high grade(9.2up) been seen on ebay. I'm speaking of DC Horror. Maybe I'm missing the auctions but I haven't seen any standout auctions in quite a awhile now.
  12. I like em. I would like to get even a couple figures MIB from back in the day.
  13. Are the Unexpected between 112-118 in high grade hard to come by or is there just less interest in them? Not many in the census.
  14. List some more books. I'd prefer that you buy mine. I have my eye on about 5 books but I'm waiting until Highgrade lists that new collection and also deciding on how much I want to take to the New York show at the end of Feb. We'll see.
  15. I always love books with bats and a halloween feel to them. Got it in today and its about a fine in grade.
  16. I was excited to get this in today. It's about fine condition.
  17. I added the website to my favorites as it useful to finding covers.
  18. I wouldn't mind seeing people's best purchases of the year in Horror.
