Any thoughts on the Faust page in the cemetery? I was hoping to snag it for under $3.5k but went for $5.5k w the juice. Great images and a 1/3 splash but I always liked art from the first 4-5 issues, but they don’t turn up that often.

I had a very large Website update to share tonight but in light of news I just received after midnight tonight.....I will send off my new art website update with new art tomorrow night...
I wanted to share with everyone reading this that with a VERY HEAVY HEART heart, I was just informed after midnight tonight of the passing of my very dear friend JOHN ROMITA SR. who passed away peacefully on Monday I was told!
I first met John Romita in 1992 (with Stan Lee) at the Capital City Sales conference in Madison Wisconsin when I had my comic book store from 1991-1998. John Romita always was the kindest most friendly person you could ever hope to meet at a comic convention or just anywhere!
I was truly blessed to be close friends with John and Virginia Romita over the past 23 years with them both being so kind as to allow me to visit them multiple times every year until Covid stopped us from meeting like we used to.
I am truly blessed to have so many fond memories with both john and Virginia Romita.
I still remember every amazing meal Virginia made when I visited them for the very first time at their home in January of 2000 for john's 70th Birthday!
This picture below is from my VERY first visit to John & Virginia's home in January 2000, and the drawing a few years later John drew for me (from our 1st picture!)
John Set up with me many times between 2003-2009 at the BIG APPLE COMIC CONS in November of every year also!

Also....I was blessed to have John and Virginia Romita fly as my guests to Ohio for my father's big 75th surprise birthday party in 2009, as I wanted John & Virginia both to meet my entire family for this fun event! (pics below)

And the highlight of my life probably was with John & Virginia when the SOCIETY OF ILLUSTRATORS had the great JOHN ROMITA MUSEUM SHOW ON JUNE 9th 2017!

Also.... I was also blessed to be with John Romita at Rockefeller Plaza for interviews on THE NBC TODAY show in 2004 right before the Spider-Man #2 movie came out, and we both did interviews for an ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT show in 2005.
Oddly enough.... I just had my old VHS copies of these 2 shows (which I haven't watched since 2005) transferred to DVD and thumb drive which I have to pick up from the company this week, and I will see if Bill Cox from Comic Art Fans can play them for everyone to see in the near future on Youtube!)
I always considered John Romita as a 2nd father to me... And I am still crying as I write this email, knowing that I will never get to see this sweet kind friend ever again....On Earth!
But I do plan to see John Romita again one day!
