  1. the difference is no printing flaws, and NO DETACHED STAPLES BY CGC
  2. stop feeling depressed, and just be happy
  3. that COULD be GRR though, but still much more likely to be real than Metro's
  4. This is ridiculous. Unless you have a video of him doing it, that could just have easily come from a different book same time period. At this rate, they'll say Joe Shuster touched it but the DNA is too old to "verify"
  5. “I’m a greater believer in luck, and I find the harder I work the more I have of it” Thomas Jefferson
  6. wait a second, you told me something that wasn't true and you knew it! (wishing me luck). that's hypocritical
  7. that's true IF, you can continuously identify them. they often get new accounts over and over again
  8. oh yeah? when you just pointed to that detective as a BIN, that I called a 7.0, that I do not believe is a 7.0 anymore (was graded and originally listed in may 2020) did I say NO I'm RIGHT YOURE WRONG? no I said that you were right and I promised to change it within the next few days. that something more people should do and it should be celebrated. admitting they were wrong
  9. when you bought your house/car did you believe what the realtor/salesman said or did you MAKE YOUR OWN ASSESMENT?
  10. I just wanna be treated with respect and that people actually back up their claims with evidence and are willing to hear "the other side." that's all I want for the cgc boards
  11. NO. people created their expectations of price through making their own determination so what the seller says the book is doesn't matter.
  12. yeah because I found a picture online I think on GCD? or one of those database sites. they had to have scanned that copy for the site SOMEHOW
  13. I don't have a goal post or an agenda. But it mostly certainly does and I think the ASM 11 example right here is an ethically provocative question.
  14. difference in price at auction between calling the same book an 8.0 and a .5
  15. oh I agree, this week is definitely light. but remember these are auctions. 200 BIN listings is very small. we consistently put up about 500 each week that mostly sell. I'm definitely not the biggest never said I was but the sell through is high
  16. fyi the true CGC grade of that ASM 11 is probably a 1.0, It would likely be a poor or FR on DylanAuctions
  17. yes agreed. but my point is that the book will the vast majority of the time sell for what it should sell for REGARDLESS of the grade you give it. I guess if someone like Comics4less or Blissard did it, it might move the needle but my prices are not occult strong like them yet
