  4. http://television.cosmicbooknews.com/content/marvels-agents-shield-cant-use-mutants?utm_source=zergnet.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=zergnet_95370 Thought this was interesting
  5. Looks like the poll doesnt match up to the posts.
  6. The same shows it beat last week with the record breaking performance came back and beat it this week. NCIS is in the same audience that AoS wants, per the article. Everyone tuned in for what they thought was going to be a great show and its let them down. This is worse than the last season of Dexter, the last two seasons of Heroes, worse than Flavor Flav's reality show. The Fury cameo felt forced. Didnt seem to match the character we've seen in the movies. There is very little associated with Shield/Marvel in this series. Name dropping characters and a cameo doesnt seem to interest a lot of people. After this episode, lets see how far the ratings drop. Im expecting to see the 1970s Reb Brown Captain America soon.
  7. A 34% drop in viewership and ratings for episode 2 and was beat out by NCIS
  8. Couldn't make it through this episode. I'm out. Maybe after it gets canceled, renumbered and starts over next season I can get back into it but this show flat out sucks.
  9. I agree. Those shows are for adults. SHIELD is for the kiddies, hence the 8pm start time. It's a totally different show. Marvel/Disney (ABC) is using this show as a weekly 44 minute promo for the Marvel Universe. Their target audience are kids (before they go to bed), and mainstream audiences that are unfamiliar with the Marvel Universe (while also appeasing current Marvel fans). They hope to attract new $$$$ into their product (movies, comics, toys, etc.) This show is basically a 44 minute commercial for Marvel that will air each week. It's ingenious, really. Marvel/Disney has a plan to market the Marvel Universe as the stand alone winner for the next 20-100 years, or forever. There really is no competition for Marvel/Disney. Marvel is franchising their universe like a runaway freight train. And the $$$ they stand to make now and in the future is just ridiculous. Hope you got in on Disney stock years ago. Once they build new Star Wars and Marvel theme parks in the coming decades, they will rule the world. I also anticipate Disney acquiring all DC properties once DC waves the white flag. There can be only one! They are showcasing characters that arent in a comic or ones that have toys out? Thats brilliant.
  10. 8 rows of 6 = 48 1 row of 4 = 52 Am I missing something?

  15. The headless horseman from Sleepy Hollow is better than any special effect they had in Agents of Shield
  16. It will have high numbers for the first week or two while the hype is high, then everyone will jump off and the numbers will fall. Then it will be cut after what has been filmed is aired.
  17. they are running the whole series starting tomorrow leading up to the finale. Dvr it if you can.

  20. Batman took off in popularity after the Court of Owls storyline was introduced. Issues #4,#5,#6 & #8 have had multiple printings that sold out. Batman #6 has sold for $35 for a first print copy. Any of the Batman #1's five printings are hard to find with the 2nd-5th prints fetching $15-$20 a piece. That story arc improved the whole Batman & Robin ( Nightwing) mythos. Exactly. Even the New 52 Batman Annual 1 has hit as high as $20 on eBay as well. Quality and print to order = price increases. I didnt believe you about Batman Annual 1. Saw a couple hit 24.99 with $5.00 shipping. Crazy. Also didnt know it was the New 52 1st app of Mr. Freeze.
  21. So they are going to make a Flash tv show about a character thats not in their current universe?
