Supposedly he is the main bad setting up the fight in Avengers 2 and will have cameo, credit scenes in the upcoming movies. That will keep building the intrigue for the character until he does have his breakthrough performance I havent seen it in the movie with my own eyes but wasnt the Infinity Gauntlet in Odin's trophy room in Thor? Loki had the mind gem in his staff in Avengers. These movies are going to be playing off of each other going forward.

The Thanos bump shouldn't be shocking. It's the same thing as the WD 19 bump after Michonne appeared on the season finale. People were excited to see Thanos, and are buying while the excitement is there. Plus, all the speculators are fighting each other for the books in the rush to get Thanos inventory. I anticipated a minor bump, not a near 1000% to 2000% increase in the value of the first appearance. Particularly when we all know that it is going to be a long time before the new Avengers film (at least 3 years if not more). I guess I anticipate that we would see a price jump of about four times tops not 10 to 20 times. Although I guess when compared to Thief of Thieves the sky is the limit. The other thing is that it is rare that there are only a handful of films that have caued individual comics' value to go wild with speculator driven purchases. I don't know, after Thief of Thieves - all bets are off for me. I can't claim to be able to predict with any level of certainty the consequences of speculator driven price jumps anymore than I can predict the weather. I'm no comic shop salesman and I'm no weather man. Whats to say Avengers 2 is going to be his next appearance? He could appear in cap a 2, thor 2, iron man 3 before Avengers 2.

How else does a book get listed in this thread? Someone lists it, it sales, its gets noticed and its gets talked about here. If all I do is break even, no harm no foul. If I they sell for me, then I made a lil profit. Ive seen a few people talk about doing this and posting their results here. If you dont like it, click ignore.

So, if I could get copies of the Walking Dead starting around issue 40 to current for $5.00/cover price for the newer ones and a good chunk of the Weekly's for cover price (minus 19), would it be best to sell them individually, in sets of 5/10 or do a whole run? Im thinking about picking them up and flipping them. Not interested in the comic but wont turn down a quick flip to get something im interested in.

Good question, the popularity of the VoB does not seem to be translating into the Knightfall run. Perhaps if the plot of the new movie incorporates some of the Knightfall story they will heat up too. Bat 489 has moved up a but. It is lower print than the Knightfall and, I believe, the second appearence of Bane. Either way, I would say don't hold them beyone the release of the film. Yeah. I didnt think the Knightfall storyline was getting much bump other then 489. My thought was to package them and try to move all of them
