    I would be curious to see how many "damaged" slabs this scammer also sent back to CGC. I am sure that there were some unsuccessful attempts at opening slabs without visible evidence at first.

    Black covers are really tough to keep 9.8s.... it's just too easy to scratch the inks. This is one of the few of mine (also a black back cover) to go from 9.8 to 9.6 after signature.

    Celebrity Authentics is doing the coordination of this signing and they just re-opened additional Lynda items for signature today (not for send in items though). They are listing 1Q 2024 for sending out signed items so March or April is likely the earliest for graded items to get back to you. Edit: Sorry, I didn't see that this was directed to CGC

    I have never had anything deleted there, so I can't speak to that. CGC does need to issue some type of "official" statement though.

    If all of this forces CGC to improve the quality of it's slab (less movement of inner well with potential damage to book, less scuffing, less Newton Rings, better slab security and integrity) then at least something positive will come out of all this.

    I disagree with the contention that no criticism of CGC is allowed on that FB site. You can't post Voldy books and you need to be civil in your interactions with others.
