Howdy Folks,
Found these when cleaning out an old attic, they must have been there for years. I hear the kids like these so decided to list them....$325 shipped for the lot. These have NOT been pressed
Rules:
-Shipping is FREE in the US, CAN/UK at cost.
-PayPal preferred for payment. Check/MO are ok.
-Please no probies or HOSers. I also reserve the right to refuse a sale to anyone that is on my personal probation list.
-Post, PM or Email with offers. First form of "I'll take it" / in the thread wins over PM negotiations.

-I have 100% positive feedback on eBay (http://www.ebay.com/usr/carl.k6) and good kudos (http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=9450918&fpart=1).
-Freshly graded.

Thanks Kevin!
Fortunately there are many different ways to collect and enjoy this hobby, none being "better" or "more important" than the other. It's all just a matter of what floats your boat.
As for this issue, Eddie getting back the symbiote and a return to legacy numbering is kind of a big deal. Will have to see the actual art before I decide whether or not it's something I would ever consider chasing though.

TOTALLY off topic....but is that a Cap 1 5.0? I blacked out for a second when I saw it, Jesus H man...what a stunner.....

Sweet slabs!

I'll never understand how so many people in this hobby seem utterly oblivious to the fact that collectors have collected comics based on cover art/artist alone for decades.

Well said Sir. Surfer 4 is my fav silver age cover, but a relatively insignificant book on the interior...still very fun to collect. FF 48 has an UGLY cover IMO, but I'll always maintain a nice copy because it's the first Surfer. Both make sense to me.
And if you're a "modern noob" then I aspire to be one too, lol, you have some incredible books based on your sig line alone.
Cheers,
Kevin

Just realized I forgot to add this slab in the lot when I priced my remaining PCH's, it's included also in the asking price of $2399.

Open to breaking the set due to certain interest on two of the books, going to list elsewhere tonight. PM me with offers!
-
Moved elsewhere, you know how to find me if still interested.

This book got murdered (pun intended) guessing due to the water damage on the back. No major tears, tape or pieces missing. Good page quality and awesome presentation for a 2.5.
Great colors and classic cover.
Recent purchase but deciding to sell with the others.

This book's cover was printed on super glossy cover stock that flakes and stresses easily. When looking for candidate books to press, this would be at the bottom of my list due to the risk of collateral damage.
Excellent insight! I have developed a pretty good eye for candidates, but as always I love learning more about this genre of books I'm slowly creeping (pun intended) into....and speaking of that, grabbed this fella last night!
