  2. Hello, I am out of my realm when it comes to higher grades. I mostly stick in the 2-4.5 grade. This one has OW/W pages and the only "defects" I see are the manufacturing tears on the pages, a small 1/4" tear on botton right front cover, extremely fine crease (?) line (almost invisible in person on top right cover going through "M" and "E", does not show up on inside of the cover), and small 1mm hole in spine. Thanks a lot for any opinions.
  3. I don't think you can get better than Walt Disney for a family home display piece. I think the cover you chose will never go out of style either, just a classic all-American piece that would look great on a wall.
  4. I always thought they seemed out of time, almost like a parody someone would make today of what they thought comics looked like in the 50s. If that makes sense.
  5. I wouldn't mind some aspects of that episode coming true today...
  6. Sweet book, GI Joe had the best painted covers ever. I don't know how I don't have one yet.
  7. I love this cover too. The guy on the right reminds me of those pig faced doctors on the Twilight Zone:
  8. Holy moly that Suspense Detective! Great scores cav!
  9. Ok everyone it is Friday and I thought this over hard, but this cover is just too cool to not draw. Giant robot, a hero, and a damsel in distress. I will post the finished creation in a couple weeks and like I promised Foley gets the original finished piece sent to him! Thanks everyone.
  10. I don't think I have ever seen a Jetta with white pages let alone a 6.5 dudddeeee..
  11. Voodoo #17 (1952 Ajax). Classic fish monster cover, tough to find to any grade. OW/W pages, VG+ Super nice pages and colors on cover. Both staples attached. $175
  12. Voodoo #17 (Golden Age fish man horror cover) Only one book and its a cool one! 13. Awesome thanks guys! This is going to be a super tough decision. I will wait until this Friday to choose so keep them coming.
  14. Ok great thanks for the info, I think what I saw was someone bound the loose reprints together.
  15. Super, super books. That Worlds of Fear is such a classic that you don't see posted often.
  16. Thanks Rick, I know you love basically the same stuff as I do so I figured you would agree with my choices.
  17. Also please post pictures of suggestions, especially if its a splash that why I can judge faster if its something I want to do.
  18. Thanks and good point about doing a splash, I will edit my original post. Got any specific splashes in mind?
  19. What cover or splash should I recreate? I feel like recreating a Golden Age comic cover/splash in my own style. I am looking for suggestions. I like horror and sci fi but I am open to most anything! I will be doing it in a realistic style, while staying true to the original. I will be doing it in charcoal. Whosever suggestion I choose gets to keep the original finished piece! Here are some things have I have done in the past. Thanks!
  20. Yeah, but is it fun to be a poor EC collector?
