  1. No sir. : ( Happy times to you as well! That first pic was the preview around 5 years ago, only a handful of those are left (e.g. no ST110, sold one to Comicshrine and kept the other, or XMen 94 -sold all but the nicest one) etc., no WBN32 -unless I add a trade wanted post for ASM 1 or Startling 49 or something as I'm considering, for which I'd put up my 8.5 slab of Moon Knight's first with some other magillas. Just some of the Warlock keys left I think. Plus a few I'm forgetting, like an FF 100 or something that I'll post.
  2. Doctor Strange 169 9.0 oww CGC GONE There is a 3 inch scuff across the front of case, around 1/3 up. Also, book has ‘newtons.’ Assume pressed; I bought it here a few years back.
  3. Strange Adv 110 3.5 $65 defects are mainly visible: some residue at top, a couple of stains, bottom left crunch, and pen arrival date; one of the few leftovers from my past threads, reduced by $10 from prior price (my cost was 75 too, it's not an 'investment' book imo).
  4. Star Wars 1 - 6 (1977) FN/+ lot, gorgeous and shiny $225 SOLD Condition: 1 easy VF/NM with just light edge wear, except the bottom staple popped 2 looks about FN/+ w just moderate wear most notable at mid-spine and brc dogear and rounding, but blemishes on back cover so, what, reduce to 5.5 ? 3 -6 each at least FN, generally better, but short of VF. #s 3 and 5 show some stress at top staple, #4 is great but there’s a ding about 1 inch above bottom spine, and #6 shows wear at top rt. and bott. left corners. If forced to predict min. CGC grade, would guess 6.5, 7.0, 6.5, 6.0 (#3-6, in that order). See pics and scans, ask any questions, no hidden defects. Spoiler includes complete front/back scans

  7. This is the treasury-sized ed., right? Yes I know it's already been taken twice.
  8. In collectible comics, easily. But regarding generic books do you think that's true?
  9. TOD 55 - 5.0 OW $2 FF 226 - 9.0 W $2 try for these 2 take
  10. TOD 51 - 4.5 OW $3 take this one, pls & thx
  11. Yeah, I worried that this might mean you drift off to some Liefeld&Lee/impressionist art forum, and lizards2 might find himself participating on a sartorial website for lizard-curious fashions. And that then loss of all these active members might ultimately lead to the demise of the CGC boards. But then rejected that idea for being crazy. But 'what about blocking?' is what came to mind for me too.
  12. Earth shaking outcomes sometimes develop from a series of events starting with something as small as a fly landing on a mountain in tibet. But if this place survived the board redesign a few years ago I guess maybe this might not be too bad.
  13. Makes sense from a pure logic (redundant links) pov. But I suggest you leave them in from a convenience/familiar template pov - we'll get used to clicking on the left-most link, and a static location of that G/S/B link is much simpler to habit-driven normie like me.
  14. Or how about fewer rules - unless they are absolutely necessary to protect us from own cupidity or dumbness - then people like you and I - who prefer to decide for themselves not to buy from noobs here - can just decide for ourselves. So, e.g., maybe Joe Doe already knows Noobie X who just joined and doesn't think waiting six months offers him/her/it any extra protection.
  15. It's been years since I read them, but I enjoyed reading (and Colan's art) the first 30 or so issues of the Tomb of Dracula - not great, but pretty entertaining. The Powers that Be ?
