  1. Or maybe a 7.0- if those are tiny tears, and not creases, at top staple.
  2. Nice copy. I think it pulls a 7.5. A very desirable one because of the wrap. And you?
  3. 6.5 + on the 40. 4.0 - on the #50. The plus or minus is my guess on which way I might be wrong on the grades.
  4. 4.5. Depending on front surface, might have a shot at 5.0 if it's above avg in smoothness/gloss etc. Back is great.
  5. 6.5, but I factored in a slight (0.5) golden age bump. Hammered it for the stain (-1.5).
  6. 3.5. Reduced for bottom rt corner and missing chips along right edge.
  7. NM- 9.2. Grader's notes: Sweet copy, don't see the wear. I guess everyone's looking at a different book than I am.
  8. Yeah, I think it nabs a 5.0. Shot at a 5.5.
  9. Drop the "T" amigo. Just ASM is more recognizable to most collectors.
  10. Wish it was an original FF1, it's pretty nice. All input welcome!
  11. 8.5 or 9.0, gorgeous copy. Don't have much experience w cgc in practice w this kind of defect, I'd guess a FN, maybe a FN+. Imo, a lot of collectors would prefer this to a typical FN 6.0 comic, and a lot would prefer a FN comic reduced for normal wear, not unsightly blemishes (maybe half and half?).
  12. 4.5 to 5.0. Mainly because tears on spine at bottom.
  13. Looks 9.4 to me. Back cover, bottom of spine there's a tiny impact ding that could bring it down a notch, and can't tell for sure at top of spine if small flake is out or some feathering at that corner. Looks sweet imo.
  14. Spent a new 'high watermark' amount on a comic from David, and I'm extremely pleased with the deal, the quick turnaround (involving my payment by personal check), the packaging, and having my first ever copy of the Marvel silver age comic that started it all. Thanks so much for this transaction.
  15. In past I've cut him/her a good deal. At least a couple percent below fmv, though depending on his recent behavior and obedience I can be rather extravagant - and discount as much as 3% below what I could sell it for net of fees.
  16. Wow, seven minutes away from completing my X-Men run with issue 32. Boo friggin hoo.
