Ive kinda had this happen! There was SO much packing tape, not like the blue painters tape that comes off easy, I couldnt remove the tape without bending the boards sandwiching the book. I had to resort to a blade, to cut the boards free. Then I find the book (in a bag and board) also taped to one of the outer boards. I had to cut it out of the bag in the end!

The stories so far are pretty much what I was thinking of when I started the thread. Instances when something arrived with beat up packaging, either from the post office, fedex, ups etc. Fun stories so far!

Been seeing a few post about damaged deliveries and the abuse shipments take. Thought a thread to post pictures would be fun. I havent had anything damaged yet thankfully, here is a recent delivery that got beat up. Feel free to add on!

Whenever Ive gotten a single book back its been in a sturdy box. First time Ive seen them use a gemini style mailer. I normally use UPS as the shipping option, noticed you used fedex. Not sure if that makes any difference as to how CGC packs things.

This cant be right. If the books are signed you shouldnt have gotten a blue label. Besides the ways mentioned above to get yellow labels, you can also get the yellow label if you get the book directly from JSC at a convention with CGC present (basically the whole witnessing process) -

Sketch cover value is super subjective. Id say general minium value is whatever you paid for the sketch + grading fees. -

posted this incorrectly in the selling forum, so moving here... Im currently considering selling an fairly expensive item to an international buyer through the forums using PayPal. Ive sold alot through ebay and some through the forums using Paypal and havent had any issues so far but he buyer is new to the forums. The seller has agreed to a goods and services transactions, and using the shipping address on the paypal account so this all seems legit. What if any other precautions should I take? And what are the possible ways this sale can go bad for me as the seller? Any advice would be appreciated.
