  1. The Hit Comics threw me off. I kept thinking there might be a detached cover at the top staple or worse a 50% spine split so I bumped it down to 4.5.
  2. They get posted in a separate thread for that round (I.e. Round 2 results). Mike hasn’t posted round 2 yet.
  3. Bullseyes on the first two. Off by one on the WW and ST. Under by two on the Showcase 94 and I couldn't even see any creases on the back cover. Fugly book. I'd take the Wonder Woman over that one any day. Four points total, I'll take it.
  4. That looks like color touch to me so yes it would get a restored label. From the pictures, the bottom left front outside cover looks more obvious (black area in middle of circular object near spine and bottom of the same object where the readers crease crosses the black outline). I can't see the color touch on the outside front right cover but it does appear to follow Hulk's shoulder/neck area. The sad part is that with all of the other creases there was nothing to gain.
  5. Not necessarily. Your tax gain or loss would be the fair value of consideration received (graded books) less your basis (what you paid) of the raw books you traded if you reported the transaction at all.
  6. I've found Covrprice to be more useful than looking at ebay sold listings, at least for more commonly sold books.
  7. Has anyone been getting shipping label cost adjustments from USPS on their eBay account? I've received two in the last couple of weeks and have never seen one before. One was up and one was down so no big deal, both were my fault for picking the wrong weight when printing the label. Since it is new to me, I'm wondering if this is a new process or if I'm maybe on some watch list for previous unknown weight discrepancies.
  8. I'm thinking this guy got his dates mixed up. There is a show there next weekend. Home Page (twinoaksshows.com)
  9. I would also let the buyer know that you are initiating a report with the post office inspector (federal) and let the buyer know you would appreciate their responsiveness when they come calling. Who knows, they might suddenly find the package hiding behind a planter on the front porch.
  10. It would be helpful if you referred to the actual books in question in your thread titles.
  11. America's Greatest #5 8.0 (if only I knew it was the Mile High copy ) Fight Against Crime #14 6.5 Showcase #4 3.5 (maybe the tear on the bottom wasn't as bad as I thought it could be) Fantastic Four #25 2.5 Supernatural Thrillers #5 9.4 Total of five points so still middle of the pack.
  12. The grader's notes called it "Very small wear tight bottom of front cover breaks color". So some sort of scuff mark or maybe just a printing issue with no ink at the corner.
  13. Well 6 points for me, including two bullseyes. Kind of blew it on the FC #348, I thought they'd hit the stain harder and it looked like a small piece missing from the bottom right FC.
  14. The two I’ve noted are worth selling individually (eBay). The balance I would sell as a lot. TCG player has a price list function by set to give you an idea.
  15. They look like they are all revised, mostly common with some uncommons. The two notable cards are Sol Ring and Demonic Tutor.
