  1. No HOSers $12 slabs, $8 raw books CONUS shipping only PayPal, Zelle, cash/check/m.o. accepted forms of payment No return on this one. What you see is what you get or equivalent trumps any negotiation X-Men #10 CGC 5.0- $500 now $450 SOLD (well below last sale of a cgc 4.5 that went for $550 on feebay, while another 5.0 has an asking price of $800 )
  2. I just sold a book on eBay only to find out “funds will be available on July 26th” a full month from now? When did this abomination start? …I do know anything else I was selling, I took down. Bye eBay.
  3. I joined the club back in 2019 with this MJI and I thought they were overpriced then
  4. Picked this one up a little over a year ago when prices were still “reasonable”. Glad I did when I did and the insert was just a little bonus to me
  5. Interesting. Considering it was only water used, how would that be detected?
  6. …and some coloring practice over a couple of David Finch pieces
  7. Gotta keep the thread alive so here’s another Omni Man I spent a little more time on than the last one
  8. This one was pretty bad but I decided to take a crack at it and I have to say I’m pretty happy with the results. I figured I’d chance it and take one for the team but was very careful about not causing further damage to an already hideous book. Just thought I’d share. All input is appreciated.
  9. After some mild cpr, got this one looking much better than before. Was probably a 2.5 at best but looks much better imo, now but let’s see what you all think 🤔
  10. Thanks for the input everybody 👍
  11. Yes, indeed. The good thing is it’s the back cover so luckily they didn’t try to remove the date stamp on the front too.
  12. Could be worse. It could’ve been cut out completely but I acquired it for a decent price way back when so I can’t complain
  13. I think the real issue is the color loss on the coupon
  14. I agree with the back cover being the problem part but luckily it wasn’t cut out of the book
  15. Looks like the splash page is also detached from the spine in that photo. The stain from the glue seems to end precisely where the split ends too which cgc probably wouldn’t look at as coincidence. If it were from manufacturing I would think it would be evident further up the book or at the bottom of the book/spine and pages
