Yea it’s a speculation at this point. I’m looking forward to the cover reveal
I am too but that pricey price point. Ouch.

Looks like $150 for CBCS. No raw option is odd.

Yea, I think most of us are in that boat. I brought 4 of the storage folio cases to protect my books in travel. A nice amount of those books were for that fabled back row. I had even tried making contact with a representative to see if some workable deal for us both could be had and was led to believe that in fact my be the case. I think I returned home with 2 full boxes at least, maybe more, with no signatures on them due to the ridiculousness of things. It soured my NY experience a tad.

@Polirer What upcoming convention will that be for ?

To all those that responded, thank you, as many understand my point in the detraction from value and the perceived "money grab". I have seen the response from BPC and their equating JSC promotions; I would like to use him as the perfect example of WHAT TO DO! JSC has been releasing limited edition covers with the GENERAL PUBLIC having the ability to buy a set of covers, to INCLUDE the Ultra-Limited CON's, at the SAME TIME OF LAUNCH! They sell out online and THEN say hey, if you missed your chance come see us at the CON. I can respect that process but this after the fact BS is troubling. I spend a lot of money on comic books and I am sure they can see I have purchased from them before and I am done with them now. I don't give a if someone paints the next Mona Lisa they can keep their books!
Im pretty sure only the recent Gwen Pool set were available with all 4 covers. The previous ones did not go on sale with the convention exclusives from what I recall. And I was in line for the Phoenix covers at MegaCon and that was a debacle.

Just ordered the set when I posted.
Really? Unless they updated their site multiple times today for it, around 4 Eastern they were sold out. And then I checked again after seeing your post. Least we all got one, right?
-
Nah, they were sold out there way earlier.

Missed out on this one. Tried but site froze on me so no luck...
if anyone has a set for a reasonable place let me know. Lol.
Did you check all 3 sites?
-
Yea, I was able to snag them from 7ate9 with a discount code but I wonder, of the announced print run, which stores got how many. The Comic Mint, 7ate9, Sad Lemon all had it for sale. Were there others?
-
Anybody get the Metal #3 pre-order? Comic Mint seemingly had very few copies for their customers that wanted to virgin or the 3 cover set.

It's the artist himself selling it. He states it's a Pre-Sale, so the CGC logo is just photoshopped in for now.
Also, that ended at almost $900. That is insane,
But almost a year or more into the new cases/labels does this look like a poorly manipulated job on an old one? I'm not saying it isn't Horn's people selling it through their online store on eBay, just that I've seen a few stories recently about folks who had purchased an item and it ends up being a fake or forgery of some kind.

Hmmm, seems odd. The poor photoshop of the old label/case. The signature. Seems like there are some red flags for sure.

I really dig that old man Logan and his Spider-Man 1 (McFarlane) recreation.
I guess I also shouldn't be surprised that the two images on the banner behind him are his most famous, the ASM 667 and the German/French Batman cover.

The Batman in the background actually looks like a Tony Daniel cover if I recall correctly.
Celebrate Dell'Otto!
in Modern Age Comic Books

You know I was contemplating getting Snyder and Capullo and Paquette on mine before sending it or maybe after but it's just ridiculous now for what they are charging. Getting Dell'Otto only and that's that. In other news, awesome books!
