  1. Didn't go straight through the trimmer. That black line is where it's supposed to be cut.
  2. A lot of it is timing, This book would have done a lot better if JL was a much better movie. March/April is great when selling cause people get their refund checks. People trying to flip a 9.0 BB 28 back to back to back doesn't help the cause, they all want to pay less than what it sold for previously which just ends up being a race to the bottom, only to move onto something else.
  3. Haha Just tell them, "Yes, there is a fix and Ill fix it for you if pay my price
  4. All I'm going to say is that I want to see Superman in more physical fights.
  5. I think Joss Whedon had to salvage what was already a mess into something actually watchable, If this was 100% Snyder, it would have been really terrible. The action was awesome and that's what I wanted to see. People complaining about the CGI, How may I ask are you supposed to make a movie like this without CGI? People need to stop comparing every DC movie to the Nolan Batman films, those were the exception.
  6. Was at a local show today, Saw a HOS's 92 graded "by that other company" as a 9.2 OW/W, Book was stunning and perfectly centered. I asked "How much is this"? He said "$4500" Finding a lot of raw books even at local shows are over graded and overpriced.
  7. Yea I can't see it through a picture, I'd have to see it in person.
  8. Must have been a big bubble, this was pretty small and there were 2 of them. Coated paper is worse when it blisters.
  9. The covers are printed separate from the insides, one book just happened to have not been stapled
  10. Marvel Graphic Novel 4 (1st New Mutants) I just sold a 9.8 for $725.00, paid $50 for and it came back a 9.8. ha
  11. I just pressed 2 original owner copies of X-Men 137, both came back 9.8. CGC is pretty easy on the SB spines.
  12. The black blanket is dirty and needs to be washed, it's paper being piled on the blanket cylinder
  13. They were never pressed. Pressing wasn't around when those books came out.
  14. The pressers here are pretty tight lipped about technique, best to look elsewhere for help.
  15. I see books in worse shape than these at comic shows for the same prices Divad is offering them for in better shape.
  16. What about buyer fraud? eBay will literally tell the seller to eat it.

    Beckett

Companies buy other companies to aquire more assets, so they can make more money. Show me a company that says "ok, no more growing, we are big enough, anything more is just us being greedy" Company "C" already has people complaining about it's customer service already, do you think the staff is going to be replaced with Beckett staff ? I highly doubt it. No matter the company, you'll always have dissatisfied customers. Just the way it is.

    Beckett

In before the lock People mainly use Beckett for newer cards and PSA for vintage, however, Beckett does use a grading system on their labels. Centering 9.5, Edges 10, Corners 9.5, Surface 9.0 Final grade 9.5 Mint. Wondering if we could see something like that soon from them on comics.
  19. I actually put it in a want list request with Bob from Highgradecomics.com for a Fantastic Four 4 9.0, One came up for sale and I had to pass. A few months later I get another email from him that he obtained another FF 4 9.0, I said "well, I better see if If I can work something out with him this time" I made a deposit on it and made time payments of $550 for like 10 months, (price was $7500 If I remember correctly) $550 a month became brutal after a few months, after it was paid and I got the book and had it for a while, Greg Reece Comics had a super nice Journey Into Mystery 83 7.0 White, I sent him a PM to see if he'd be willing to trade the Journey 83 7.0 for my FF 4 9.0 straight up and he agreed. Couple of years past, and I was browsing Bob's site and he had an AF 2.5 Off white with no chipping listed. I sent him an email and asked what would it take to get the AF 15, he replied back "The journey 83 and $XXXX.00. I made the cash I needed on ebay, so I sent him the Journey 83 and a check and he sent the AF 15 which I still have If you want one bad enough or anything in life bad enough, you'll find a way.
  20. Greg is right, and I've said it in the past, This is more of a long term game, Instead of people saying "I grew up reading Spider-man, Batman ect...People will be saying "I grew up watching those movies" The way prices have been going, it almost doesn't matter if it's a 1.5 or a 3.0..people still want them. Start buying those mega keys even in low grades and hang onto them for as long as you can.
  21. In 15 years of submitting off and on, I've only had 2 come back a 9.9. Harley Quinn 1 (2000) and Origin 1.
