  1. If X men 135 is still available, I'll take it
  2. you know, you guys would be proud of me. I actually watched part of the movie (I'll finish it soon) It was well done and photographed (not lighting, just character/camera placement) , well, different- thinking of the scene where we meed the Riddler and he kills the mayor. I say it was good so far.
  3. I doubt many new collectors are getting into the hobby. (Yes, I know your children are special and read and collect comics, most do not). With long time collectors bailing like the OP, who actually reads comics, well.... Anybody interested in a Roy Rogers action figure from the 50s new in the box? Exactly. But NoMan, The Movies what about The MOVIES? They make sooooo much money. The movies are gonna wear out their welcome. NEVER! There's a Roy Rodgers marathon on TMC. Wanna Watch?
  4. lol. don't know the answer to this. You got to own it once?
  5. Thank you. I figured it sold for less than last time cause it was crickets in here after the HA live auction....
  6. where's the Usual Gang screaming about what the latest HA, CC, CL or whatever auction price was realised? Are we up? Down? Or do we still need, yet more data of yet more sales, to make a determination?
  7. but if you try to resell the milkshake and nobody wants it (cause it was stupid to begin with) and that discourages you from buying more milkshakes at McDonalds and getting you out of the McDonalds hobby, and this happens with enough people that eventually the entire McDonalds hobby breaks. Or something like that. I barley know what I mean either
  8. The internet is an open sewer. Like many things in life, you've got to dig through the dung to find a nugget of gold here or there and the CGC boards are no different. There's a nugget or three or four of gold around here but it's mostly dung and I can certainly understand getting tired of wading through the fecal sludge here to find that nugget or two of wisdom. The ignore function is helpful but far from perfect.

  13. I can't help but think there are lots and lot in good condition, yet unslabbed. you could say the same thing about Star Wars 1, also. Who knows....
  14. Whoever posted re: DKR #1 9.8 I believe is on the right path. The ignore button is helpful here, not perfect, but does help.
  15. Never mind I see there is. I’ll buy a couple of old ones floppy issues but everything seems for thousands now.
  16. I always liked Ripley’s Believe It Or Not. WEIRD ! EERIE ! AUTHENTIC! Was that Gold Key? Love to see a bio-pic on that Ripley fellow. Far out dude.
  17. Curious: if you don’t “really know” what happened, why refer to working folks at UPS as being “POS?”
