I'm kind of surprised that with your username and profile pic that wasn't almost an immediate certainty that you already had every werewolf cover on lockdown As much as I'll miss this one I already have a plethora of Werewolf covers from the bronze age with my Werewolf By Night run and select Man-Wolf books. Time for someone else to enjoy it!

Another great one! It's difficult with so many quality renditions over the last 70-80 years of film history. But I would definitely rank that one up there!

I may be in the minority of public opinion but I loved Van Helsing. It came out and was what it was supposed to be, an over the top, somewhat campy horror epic. A close second and third for me are the ones from the Underworld franchise and American Werewolf in London.

Definitely two trains of thought at work here. Both awesome in their own ways!

haha it's of course my own opinion respectfully! There are a few really great Werewolf covers in this era! Crypt Of Terror #17, Marvel Tales #116, Tales From The Crypt #35 and #47, Astonishing #17 etc. etc. I just feel that this one has the best beauty shot of what we consider the modern aesthetic of a werewolf, that classic look! And given this is from 1947 it pre dates all of the others previously mentioned. WAY ahead of its time!
