Take Silver Surfer 3 please!

I think the Avengers movies are ground-breaking in that they are attempting to bring Big Event comic-book story-telling to the movie screen. They don't always work, and sometimes they rely too heavily on character archetypes, and charismatic performances, at the expense of plot. But when they do work, as IW mostly did, they are in a league by themselves.
Star Wars 8 was much more plot-focused, and tried to surprise the audience with its twists and turns. Unfortunately, these narrative choices sometimes came at the expense of well-defined characters and motivations. In this case, it was especially problematic because the creators were undermining a lot of what JJ Abrams and his team set up in Episode VII.
I expect Abrams will correct course in SW9, but I also don't expect it to be much more than just another Star Wars romp. Abrams historically has been better at setting up mysteries than resolving them in a satisfying way.

FWIW, two copies of this book have popped up for sale here in just the last week.

you got that right! But you are also right in that PQ really matters!
I've seen people on the boards claim that CGC's PQ grades are highly inconsistent...
The seller is (apparently) already pricing below GPA average. What should the seller do to be more transparent about the PQ issue?

I think usually we don't do pricing in this forum, especially because there are a lot of factors to consider when buying, but...
For me personally, I wouldn't go above $80.
It is a cool book, but not really so hard to find in the wild. If the mis-wrap bothers you, wait for a nicer copy to come along.

I don't think the miswrap hurts your grade too much.
I'd be more concerned about what is going on LRFC. Is that a crease or chip there?
Also, light wear along the top of FC.
Interiors look great!
Hard to grade without seeing the back, but if I had to guess, I'd say 8.5.

I'm extremely new to this board/forum...
could someone tell me how "auctions" work?
do we just post with our bid here in this thread?
and whoever posts the biggest bid here gets the books when the auction ends?
thanks
Yes. That's how it works.
