You must be an eBay seller if you thought that was a 6.5!

These Prestige format books are always tough. Depending how bad the wear is at the bottom.

That's a 7 in my book.
I wouldn't ding you for the production crease on the back (through the "S").

Some photos and run down from last night's comic book club meeting.
Who invited that Spider-Man guy?

We probably won't get one until their board decides the stock price needs a boost.

The very first Flash I bought myself was #172 in 1967. The cover really caught my eye and it is still one of my favorite Flash covers. Simple and striking with the all black background. I looked for a long time to find a decent high grade copy and finally picked this one up off ComicConnect about 4 years ago. It probably would have gotten a 9.4 grade but it has a very slight color break along the left top edge of the front cover near the spine.
I love the cover for 172. Grodd seems enormous and menacing, and the cover helps establish him as one of Flash's most powerful enemies. Infantino was at the top of his game during this period, imho.

Thanks for sharing😀 as for Adams .5 I hope I will be lucky enough to find one like that, one I can actually afford! When your on a budget and looking for key books it almost seems more difficult to come across a key in that condition when you have the money to spend. All the stars have to line up just right. Maybe this year will be the year. If you ever want to sell it Adam let me know
I cracked it yesterday. Newton Rings were really bugging me. It's unlikely my butter fingers can do anything to reduce the grade further.
For now, it's staying in my on-again-off-again Flash run, but if I ever find a nice upgrade...

Purchased 10 Bronze Age Flash comics. They were in nice shape, shipped quickly, and packed extremely well. Thanks!

For low-volume books, especially rare Golden Age stuff, I've found it informative to see the sold item prices here.

PGM Approved Comics #11 - Matt Baker cover and Canteen Kate inside pages
in Hey buddy, can you spare a grade?

3.0, maybe 3.5.
Tears don't seem so bad, but pretty beat overall.
Not penalizing you for production crease on back, or the cover mis-wrap.
Would help to see a shot of the staples from the side...
