  1. Nothing. I respect his work and what he did and I don't hate it but I just personally don't like his stuff for some reason. Though discovering his late 40s weird funny animal/cartoony comics gave me something to like of his. I love that stuff...
  2. I doubt they are reselling them over and over, more like just relisting them after no one buys them. They have good feedback so I doubt they are pulling that scam. It also clearly state that they are reprints and large size so they aren't hiding anything. They of course are hoping someone falls for it and buys these worthless things and then they can say they said they said were reprints so they did nothing unethical. If someone is stupid enough to buy these then that's their problem.
  3. There are easily hundreds of different ones. Go to discogs.com and search, most will be listed there. The earliest one I know of and have is the 1941 Superman Christmas Adventure 78rpm record set...
  4. My holy grail comic is extremely rare and while there is almost no one that wants it besides me, I am not telling anyone what it is just in case I turn anyone else onto it and looking for it.
  5. Comic books themselves or as collectibles? who cares about collecting or value. The comic book magazine which everyone means when they say comic book has been dying for a long time. Comics themselves are healthier than ever with more comics being made than ever really. It's comic book store, mainstream superhero marvel/dc crud that people only think exists for some reason. I know you meant as collectibles and value and all that, but comics as an art form are as strong as ever with more being made than ever, more people making publishing their own more than ever. I go to Quimby's and places and there's so many comics constantly coming out it's insane. Comics are in great shape and going nowhere. The collecting thing and marvel, dc etc? Who cares.
  6. That action 1 sold in 1973 and the famous first edition came out in 74
  7. That ad and other famous first editiion ads were in all DC comics in the late 70s. Reminds me of those rare coin ads that were in comics all the time from the 40s through the 80s...
  8. These two. Not because of the cover themselves, but because how popular they are and how moronic and juvenile people are thinking they are funny.
