  1. I don't have any memory of how or where I got these but somehow I managed to keep them all this time. I definitely enjoyed reading these, especially 104!
  2. Amazing Spider-Man #154 NM- Amazing Spider-Man #171 VF/NM Tomb of Dracula #24 VG/FN (Copy 1) as per PM.
  3. I haven't shared my copy in this thread yet, so here it is! I've had this for just a bit over 40 years now. Keep thinking one of these days maybe I will have it graded...
  4. My copy of Groo the Wanderer #1 I bought off the rack at my LCS. Hard to believe I have held this copy over 40 years now! Also found this sketch Sergio Aragones drew for me
  5. My copy was purchased from my LCS when it was originally released. It has been in my collection over 40 years now!
  6. Just checked the book, and it is a bit of ink overspray.
  7. Bought this a few years ago from a board member to upgrade a filler copy. As far as I can tell the main problem with this comic are along the spine, otherwise looks very nice. Thank you for reviewing this book.
  8. I have had this for almost 40 years now, and cost me $3! Overall this comic looks really nice, but does have a few minor flaws: Minor crease on the front cover to the right of Spiderman's right thumb, between aunt May and Green Goblin. Slight jam lower left front cover. Crease on the back cover. Production crease lower left back cover . I hadn't noticed any of these issues until I took these pictures! Thank you for reviewing this book.
  9. Another early Spider-Man for your review. This time I recorded the date I purchased this issue: January 8, 1983, for a whopping $42. I purchased all of my early spider-man comics in the early 80's and have held them ever sense. Can't imagine ever selling them off. I don't see any serious defects on this copy. Thanks in advance for taking a look at this!
  10. I have had this for almost 40 years now. Cost me $21, which seemed like a lot at the time! Overall it seems like a pretty solid copy, but the spine has some issues. Amazing how much more is shows up in the closeup pictures! Thanks!
  11. As far as I can tell this comic has been miscut and not trimmed, but I would appreciate any input as well as what grade you think this may be. The width at the top is about 6.75 inches, while the width at the bottom is just under 7 inches. Would someone trim just the top and leave it uneven? For comparison I measured both 49 and 51 and they both measure about 6.75 inches at top and bottom. Other than that here are some details: Some tearing at the top staple, but still attached A bit of a rough edge on the top left Light creasing on the lower left near the spine Folded corner bottom left back cover Thanks for your feedback on this book!
  12. My raw copy, purchased around 1980 for $6. Glad I held on to it all these years!
  13. I have owned this comic for a long time. Purchased it in December 1982. I remember at the time it was a bit of a stretch to afford it, but figured I wouldn't get many chances to own a copy so went for it. Boy am I glad I did! Overall it looks pretty nice, but it does have some flaws: Bottom right corner has a small piece out of the cover A small indent under the first 'A' in Fantasy Not sure what happened to the top of the building with the people on it. Look kind of like that area has been rubbed. Small tear on left side of back cover Small tear on bottom right of back cover Name written on splash page. Please let me know what grade you thing this is. Thanks for the help!
