  1. X-force #116 both direct and Newsstand Score is in line with Overstreet Access
  2. is it possible to get score adjustments on $1.99, $2.99, $3.99 and $4.99 Newsstand Editions, I guess that I can narrow it down to Amazing spider-man. Decent several hundred $ books seemingly with low scores idk
  3. Gqc shouldn't be too long but are a little longer due to them setting places for actual new qc procedures. That said, it's been at least a week from everyone ibe seen. My moderns received 7/11. Still GEI as of last week and been about 6 days. Here is someone being blessed at moderns same time received already at qc
  4. Still if there are shards of plastic loose in the case have it reholdered while it is free. I too have an oddly situated book in a slab, TMNT #4 2nd print: regular slab but with tabs the book is not centered but adjusted to the right side of the slab. There was at least one other slabbed this way that I was able to find online at the time. For whatever reason I'll trust there was one, a reason. No loose shards so I didn't reholder, but something I'll admit made me question why? Mag holders are a different breed as cumbersome and large, that too I'd struggle to over come for a reason, as you said and even my TMNT most others were encapsulated "normally." Take all with a grain of salt and do what your gut says, but at least get rid of the plastic loose shards with a reholder while the night is young.
  5. This is how I feel too yet it's hard not to just say: and substitute or not science for acetate
  6. And to further recap, I find it odd that cgc used the stray dogs acetate as the president for the acetate books as blue labels, when the invisibles were as well. Then there was the artist who did the stray dog covers, that not only recanted that as precedent but also that they dont want "their good name ruined." But it's all speculation that imo wouldnt happen often enough to ruin the process. If cgc truly called this an unprecedented move, I doubt they'd do it again soon. Or "whatnot!"
  7. Or is it lible libel? Either way I hope all I hear is reliable.
  8. Lol wasn't the name of the bridge liable? I'm no fact checker but I'll be certain before I state as fact
  9. Ya I edited, cause the invisibles had all grades from 0.5 to perfect 10s and the acetate that was graded to achieve those labels were what was graded. With the exact grading spanning books here, that is why some presumed the same happened, manufacturing collectables. But like @awakeintheashes said no proof without cgc response
  10. It takes a lot of memories and keeping tabs to come up with this theory, but if you've been around for a year, @CGC Mike this was the reason for all the tags and questions but we never got a response, only a response to the blue label
  11. In other words the acetate was the only gradable thing for bad idea, which in the slab looked "invisible." That's why the invisible comics had all ranges of grades slabbed So with acetate applied here it is possible that the train of thought could again be applied
  12. They take the acetate grade into account for the label, I have more of a problem that the rest of the books were as flawless in those exact grades. That said. When cgc did the invisible comics there were grades because the acetate had a grade inside the slab, those were conditioned and manufactured to have those grades for bad idea. So yes there is precident of all of the above. We still don't know if that specifically happened with these though I've asked if that was everyones thought process to no avail in this thread. Worth it to reask.
  13. I can only imagine comiclink catching wind of it, their stickers are still on some of my slabs at least...
  14. Tbh on Facebook within the past couple of weeks or before the acetate gate, ahem, cgc had giveaways and told everyone to expect more within a little while
  15. The only learning that I got from yesterday was Whatnot has to "approve all sellers" so it has some "accountability " presumed, and then, Maybe that you can have a bid style
  16. So this one had it? Gtk hope it was cheap enough! And congrats on the rest, I mentioned at the time, but I'm still waiting for mine to come back from October a year ago, Defenders 4
  17. If you got chores money honey We got chore acetitatin needs.
