  1. I'm coming to this late, but here's my essential question.

    1) I list a book for sale on the forum. It is for sale NO WHERE ELSE.

    2) The book sits there for three days.

    3) The book doesn't sell.

    4) I then put the book for sale on eBay AFTER it has done steps 1, 2, and 3.

    5) Where does that thread go?

Here's the logical course of action:

    1) Start a new thread on the EBay/Dealers section complete with auction/store/account link.

    2) Post a link to that THREAD (not your EBay account or auctions) in the original Forum-Only thread to point people to the EBay sales forum.

  2. How about that all perceived violations are to be reported to the administrator for action, or to the creator for correction, and that any spams within the thread by forumites attacking the conduct (which, in fact, may turn out to be inaccurate) itself constitutes a rule violation.

I guess if you childishly delete ALL your offending posts, it's pretty tough for Arch to catch you. 27_laughing.gif27_laughing.gif27_laughing.gif

  3. Exactly. CGC gives a Blue 9.8 grade to some freakshow book with printer's creases all over it (defending it with the old "Manufacturing Defect" excuse), then screams bloody murder when a color is printed differently.

Does that make sense to anyone? screwy.gif

  4. My Wolverine 145 Bone Claws and Spidey 375 white cover both got a blue label and I don't think I will ever recase them.

Definitely don't send those back, or they'll be transformed into Qualified in the blink of an eye. foreheadslap.gif

  5. I don't like the green label either for manufacturing defects.

I agree, and think this is one of the dumbest and most short-sighted decisions by CGC, especially as it's one of those grandfather'd rules, whereby dealers protect older "blue label" variants, while not having to watch the "general public" sell off newer ones for big bucks.

It's also not a coincidence that right after those USM cover variations sold for HUGE $$$, that suddenly CGC changed gears and started giving them green labels.

Nah.. dealers don't run CGC. insane.gif

  6. JC you might be right I have seen more #171's than #169's but not a whole lot more

In my experience, ASM 171 is by far the most common of the ASM 35-centers, and would definitely be the one to show up in HG. I think it was the first 35-cent variant I ever found, and I keep seeing them with regularity.

ASM 169 and 173 are the hardest to locate, in my opinion.
