  1. Thought that might be the case! Navy Combat #7! Thanks again Dan!
  2. Navy Combat #3 and Kid Colt #85 go to Buttock! Thank you! Dan, did you by chance mean Navy Combat #7? Navy Combat #9 had already been taken by TheComicsPreacher; sorry. Zero obligation at all, but just in case you typo’ed and meant Navy Combat #7 I’m parking it on hold with you having right of first refusal. Please just clarify at your convenience. Thanks again!
  3. Navy Combat #9 goes to Jesse Custer’s favorite boardie, TheComicsPreacher! Thanks Nate!

  6. SOLD! Navy Combat #7 in VF range. Joe Maneely cover. Four on census topped by 9.0. $250
  7. OK, I’ll finish up Navy Combat now then call it a night. More either tomorrow or Tuesday night; will update here tomorrow. Thanks everyone for your interest in these special books! Here we go with tonight’s last books…
  8. SOLD! Navy Combat #6 in VF or better. Four on census topped by a 9.0. $250
  9. FYI I am not holding back any Navy Action. Most of that short run was grabbed before I got to them. I’m not the only person getting a shot at these from the family friend, but you could count us on one hand. I saw a pic of the Astonishing #30, which changed hands privately around time of the auction of the Bethlehem copy. It was at least breathing down the Bethlehem’s neck.
  10. @JollyComics I have not tried submitting any. I am aware from the family friend who sold them to me that cgc is aware of the books as the family discussed submission, but they ultimately decided not to make a big splash at an auction and instead prefer to get them raw into collectors’ hands.
  11. SOLD! Navy Combat #2 FVF to VF. Just a coupla 6.0’s on census. $250
  12. Navy Action #9! Thanks Jim and welcome to the thread!
  13. SOLD! Navy Action #9 note upper left corner ding, lower left back corner, and a couple crimps along top overhang, but I think it is still in VFNM range. A lone 6.5 on the census. $300
  14. Thank you, so true! These were all copies he got from the newsstand run by the Atlas office, so he got to pluck them himself.
  15. SOLD! Kid Colt Outlaw #85 in VFNM range. Four on census topped by an 8.0. $250
  16. Kid Colt Outlaw #83 in VF or better. Three on census, topped by a pair of 8.5’s. $200
  17. Gunsmoke Western #70 in FN. Note edge chipping. More plentiful here, with seven on census topped by 9.0. $100
  18. Gunsmoke Western #52 in VF or better. Just a lone 4.0 on the census. $250
  19. SOLD! Gunsmoke Western #40. VF or better. Two on census, including a 9.4 so this one, while sweet, is doubtful a topper in my opinion. $200
