  1. Famous Funnies #8 in VG. March 1935, featuring Buck Rogers, Jane Arden, Joe Palooka, Napoleon. Racist caricatures. A comparable copy sold on ebay for just over $235; a cover-detached copy is currently available there at $170. These don't grow on trees, so let's say $225.
  2. Okay, that was the last item I had shot for tonight, but I do have pix of one more I had offered previously then thought about keeping. It is technically pre- 'Tec 1, Platinum Age, the oldest book I own, from 1935...
  3. SOLD! Bobby Benson's B-Bar-B Riders #18 in VG+ to FN-. Ayers horror cover, second only to #14 in the run, IMO. Some of you may recall I completely lost my mind a couple years ago and bought a 16-longbox collection that was 90% Classics Illustrated...this was among the other 10%. $40
  4. SOLD via PM! Pep #71 -- Here's a tough, classic Betty cover, unfortunately its in Poor due to a missing last page. Cover has splitting to top staple but is hanging on at bottom staple. (WAS $50) NOW $40
  5. SOLD! Weird Thrillers #5 (last issue) in Fair/Good.,writing, cover hanging on at top staple. A marginally better copy went for $59 at auction on eBay. Let's say $40
  6. Welcome; not out of line at all! I own very few Looney Tunes and have none I'm planning on selling. If I come into others in collection, I will part with issues above #20, or ones below if I come across doubles. But I have nothing to offer currently. Early Looney Tunes are awesome and tough; I grab them when I can and let everyone else argue over ducks. (No disrespect; I love Barks but I also love that he keeps LTMM under the radar by getting all the funny animal love.)
  7. SOLD via PM! Monster #1 in Fair. Cover completely split and detached, carefully readable but slightly brittle at the edges. Killer Maurice Whitman headlights cover on a scarce book. Looks great in Mylar or a slab. (WAS $60) NOW $50
  8. SOLD! Tim Holt #34, classic Flower Women story, plus lotsa cheesecake in general. This copy is FR/GD with cover detached and nearly split, but it's complete. A VG- went at auction in eBay recently for $76; a copy with chunk torn off the cover (but included) sold there for $20. Let's say $15.
