  1. Lot of four romance readers, a couple with back covers: Romantic Story #24 (Charlton 1954), Girls' Love Stories #26 (Signal 1953), Diary Loves #6 (Quality 1950), True Love Confessions #5 (Premier Magazines 1955) Take the lot for (WAS $15.) NOW $8
  2. SOLD! Okay, this is difficult even to post, as it is a coverless copy of an impossible book that is all about the legendary Matt Baker cover.... Diary Secrets #29 (St John 1955), heartbreakingly coverless. A lower grade copy sold recently on eBay at auction at $431 and change, but alas it's all about the cover. This one is of course perfect if you have a cover, or if you want a reader to go with your slabbed copy. Let's say $20.
  3. Let's start with a rumble in the jungle.... Jumbo Comics #26 (1941) featuring Sheena, and also including some of the earliest horror in comics, Stuart Taylor in Weird Tales of the Supernatural. Jumbo Comics #91 (1946) missing approximately 44.6% of the last page. Jungle Comics #79, so nominally possessing cover remnants as to be coverless. Take the lot for (WAS $25) NOW $20
  4. Incredibly challenging to boil down to 15; not sure who I would boot but I do like the idea of the inclusion of Hogarth as he taught and influenced so many, such as Joe Sinnott, who has had quiet but broad influence. Also, with all due respect to Dale Messick, if I were to pick one woman, Wendy Pini is the first to come to mind, as a creator, pioneer of independent comics publishing, and perhaps manga's first American ambassador. (And while it's not directly relevant to the argument, she's also basically the mother of cosplay).
  5. My pleasure; great boardie running it too I looked quick (what's the Creepy issue with the "Jenifer" story everyone says I should read?) and saw some nice Horror Tales and such that I recalled are tough in decent shape; thought of you and Wombat.
  6. C'mon....Pete!!!! Fear cryin' out loud! Kidding aside, like @Buzzetta I don't look at that score. I'll focus on the item and message with any questions, but I generally consider the item, not the seller score, unless overall rating is an outlier to the bad. @RockMyAmadeus I don't blame you for being upset by vindictive people, but I don't think they will have a substantive impact, fwiw.
