Happy New Year, all! Over the next few nights, I have about 200 Gold Key comics to share in lots and singles. There's a little of everything -- Disney, Hanna Barbera, Hardy Boys, Boris Karloff, Twilight Zome, various TV shows, Dynabrite comics, Looney Tunes characters, etc. But first... First in the thread wins Payment: Check or Money Order. I do not have Paypal. Don't be listy including any little lists in my head Shipping: One book ( as if -- it's a stacker's dream thread) would be U.S. First class, call it $4. Multiples will go Priority, so between $7 and $13.65; will use Region B boxes when it makes sense.) Returns: Sure; on your dime and in the same shape. Just notify me within three days of receipt. I gotta be nuts but it's a great little read and release collection and now I'm sharing much of it. FYI, there are no major keys -- No Scooby #1, no Astro Boy, No Jonny Quest; they weren't there; I am not holding them back. -- just fun funnybooks.

Thanks Claudio; looking forward! I'm torn between Spawn 1 and one of the two ASM 361 choices; shrugged and picked Spawn. -
Noticed this house ad in the back of Marvel Superheroes #20 featuring Doctor Doom, the last new content issue. It promises Starhawk in the next issue, but the reprints take over entirely in #21, of course. I wonder if it ever saw print? Of course, the name Starhawk is used later in the GOTG when he is introduced in the Defenders series, but this character pictured looks much more like a prototype for Star-Lord. Been a long time since I read those Marvel Premiere mags; can't recall who drew the interior for #4, first Star-Lord. I'm thinking this never saw print in any form; anyone know otherwise?

The Most Significant Silver Age Annual?

Worth mentioning is the contribution of the JIM annuals; first Herc in #1 and Destroyer in #2, IIRC. -
What was your first purchase on these boards?

It's one of these two, can't recall exact order -- Rockford copy of Boy #24 from @Straw-Man and, in a partial trade, this Roly Poly from @Ricksneatstuff (who beat me out in an eBay auction for it in the first place; thanks for parting with it!) -
Congrats! I recall this has been a target for a while

Condolences to his many boardie friends; I'm sorry I never had the pleasure of "meeting" him on here. I'm sorry for this loss to our community.

What's the general overlap of people who both build these runs and read them (albeit in a second form; not the 9.6-9.8 copies, but some combination of reader copies and/or various forms of republication, whether it's Masterworks, Essentials, a Marvel Tales run, whatever.)? I have a general sense of the entire "arc of Spider-Man" from years of reading, but it would pretty dang cool to read it end to end.

Sure, I'm just curious which it is in their case. -
