  1. SOLD! Lot of 12 Jack T. Chick comics. King of Kings is strictly a reader, with cover detached and almost split, but the other 11 are a mix of FN's and VF's. Take the lot for $25.
  2. Classic Comics 23 HRN 30 (2nd edition) VG/VG- due to,piece missing, nice gloss. Exceptionally cool cover. $10
  3. Classics Illustrated 60 HRN 62 Black Beauty Canadian edition, VG with 1" horizontal tear middle right side of cover, the thumb action spot. $10
  4. I traded him a St John Treasury of the Comics, an early '50s hardcover publisher rebinding of 16 comics, IIRC. Anyway, it's over 500 pages of Jane Arden, Abbott and Costello, Mopsy....he's holed up reading that Jimmers, we miss ya, brother! @porcupine48
  5. Here's the one I was thinking of, but they changed his name to Dandy Clapp inside, so this may not be it. Amazingly, therefore, it's a not a one-off either.
  6. I DO have a Classics Illustrated 60 with the LB Cole cover! This collection has been a bear to sort, and they were not all together.
  7. Classics Illustrated #90 HRN 165 Green Mansions, LB Cole painted cover. VG+ (holding back for spine wear; cover presents FN) $5
  8. Cole also provided three painted covers for Classics Illustrated, #'s 30, 60 and 90. Two of them are coming up next. (I don't think I have a #60, Black Beauty.)
  9. The great LB Cole provided painted covers for Classics Illustrated Junior from issues 558-568; here is nearly that entire run, missing only #562, The Enchanted Pony. In its place I have added the English edition of #564, known as Pixi Tales #64. These books are mostly GVG, with some coupons filled out and some connect-the-dots connected, but they are all about the covers, and they mostly present well enough. Take the lot for $25.
