  1. SOLD! Let's begin the flagship title with a classic story of the silver age... "Superman's Return to Krypton." Superman #141 in about Good. Presents nicely but cover detached. $10
  2. Like maybe a Jughead 1 undercopy?? Inquiring minds wanna know.... Always great to see a great thread from a great boardie! GLWTS!
  3. That's a great insight, Richard, and goes to what I was getting at early on when I said to @comicjack that I didn't want to be the one to lower the bar for Hall of Fame voting, so to speak. It's also what I take it @Point Five was getting at when he said some of the books he thought about he then realized nine guys on here had. I've wondered that about Police 109 in particular; is it that uncommon or just long-hoarded? I've seen it three times; bought two and one got away on eBay. So I'm not sure. Just musing in print.
  4. I have not seen everything cited but I still cannot believe there are not more nominations for Daredevil. I fell asleep trying to watch that. I had managed to forget Ang Lee's Hulk even existed until this thread. And, because the bar is so much higher for MCU movies, I will grade on a curve and say Thor:Ragnarok was awful. Gods don't need guns. It was so bad it was as if someone who wrote comics in the 90's wrote it.
  5. Agreed; kicking myself for not pulling the trigger the one time I recall one sitting on eBay...a long ways back....
  6. @fett Amazing Charlton work! Many of those you don't see often for sure. I think Hillbillies is an underrated and tough title; some of the others I have not paid as much attention to so my thoughts are not well-informed, but I sure as heck don't recognize them. I do have that last issue of From Here to Insanity; I'm sure there's others out there but yours and mine are the only ones I've seen.
  7. I'll get us back to U.S. outputs. Is it me, or does this one rarely come up? I jumped on it recently when a great boardie posted it in a sales thread.
  8. Welcome to the addiction! Ultimately, it's the place to be. I still have books from all eras that I love, but it's no longer the same.
  9. I wasn't thinking foreign editions, but BoHogg1 made me think of this:
  10. Sweet! Where did you find it? I certainly missed it!
  11. SOLD! Lois Lane #'s 45-47. This three-book lot is somewhat nicer, FN/FN-, only glaring exception being a lower popped staple on the #47. Alas, a common SA DC malady. Take the 3-book run for $20.
