  1. Heart Throbs #132 VG minus. Again, with the check marks on the lingerie panels $5
  2. Young Love #66 VG- $5 Some of this interior art can only be described as "groovy."
  3. Heart Throbs lot -- #'s 107,108,110-113,115. (7 books) Grades Fair to GD. Get a nice chunk of the "3 Girls -- Their Lives...Their Loves" serial that ran from issues 102-123 in one shot. $30
  4. First up is a key of the genre, Young Love #68 in GD. 1st Lisa St. Claire. Cover detached at lower staple. Stained, dirty. Note also check marks in pen on various panels. (This is NOT a Cosmic Aeroplane book as it's far too new and the checks are in pen, not pencil, but this lady's son was also an art teacher and he likely did the same sort of thing.) $20
  5. You know you want it ... And I'm putting out tonight ... I went to an old lady's house last week to buy her old Archies (she couldn't find them -- yet) and I came away with her son's Low grade, poorly stored Silver Age DC and Charlton (mostly) romance books. No Lichtenstein swipes I could find, mostly a little newer, but cool stuff. So here we go... First in thread wins Shipping: U.S. - 1 book at $5; two or more at $7. Canada at actual. Payment -- check or money order; I do not have Paypal. Returns - Sure, just notify me within three days of receipt and get them back on your dime. Don't be listy Including the little one in my head
  6. Then, I've started getting into Australian GA. Finding some cool covers that I've never seen on U.S. editions of books, in some cases.
  7. Lots of buying lately, so I'm catching up here. First, thank you @kazoo for a WWII cover long on my want list
  8. I've also been getting into Australian GA of late, as I am finding there's some great covers that never appeared here, even though they are over U.S. Stories printed in B&W in many cases.
  9. Some catching up to do, as I have been buying a lot lately. First up, a boardie book! Thank you @kazoo for hooking me up with a WWII cover I have wanted for a long time!
  10. I agree; if it's just for a board discussion and you're answering a question but don't want to risk the in and out of Mylar on a rare and/or high grade book, I'm just grateful for the image. Leave it in for safety if you want. For sales threads, I like back covers too at a minimum, but I understand when listing lots of low price point reader books only showing fronts along with grade and description. That said, I think it's good to offer more pix on request. When in doubt, err on the side of showing more pix, as some folks just won't like to ask. (Some folks hate to haggle; they won't PM but will take a book at discount if they felt first ask was more than they want to pay.) For sales of raw, higher grade newer books, the kind that are $2 in 8.0 and $180 in 9.632 of whatever, please post the back too. And somebody pour Roy a decaf to go with Dave's turkey sangwich!
  11. Which you're no doubt digging out to offer right now, hence the delay in posting
  12. My pleasure; I would have thought Space Ghost, Astro Boy, and Robinsons all would have gone quickly. You've got to view these books like Archies; these are pretty high grade for these titles. Astro Boy is not the easiest book to find, in my experience. Space Family Robinson I could swear I read about somewhere as also being tough; I know I don't see it much.
  13. Two tough Gold Key books remaining, and... Has anyone ever seen another 9.8 Charlton??? Most of those things came off the presses VG! Very cool stuff, JunkDrawer. GLWTS!
  14. Sersi also spent a good chunk of time as an Avenger...jus' sayin'...long as we're theorizing here...
  15. You raise such a good point. As collectors, we often recognize we steward the books for the next generation of collectors. We also steward the history. If you're in the northeast, you probably have a shot at getting the kids to meet Joe Sinnott at a show. That would be a great experience for them; he's one of the nicest human beings on the planet and one of the few formative days Marvel guys left.
