  1. I have placed this book on hold, pending discussions with a discerning and legendary boardie!
  2. Please, no! That was helpful! I totally missed the other possible interpretation.
  3. With that, fellow boardies, it's a wrap! That's what I've got! I will leave it open a bit longer for end-to-end perusal and PM consideration, as PMs are always welcome, but we will close soon. Thanks again to all takers, lookers, likers and Bon vivants who stopped in to bring this thread to life! I hope everyone had fun!
  4. Hadn't thought of Dark Shadows; great guess...of course, I don't have that one...
  5. Beatles Yellow Submarine (Gold Key 1968) VG+ with poster intact. Note writing on back cover. (Was $150) NOW $135! 17 sold on eBay and just seven available, many in each bucket without the poster. All the current asks are very high for poster-intact copies. Not the most common silver age book.
  6. Final book coming up...not the easiest silver age key to find, especially with its poster intact....and perhaps the strangest comic I have ever read in more than four decades of reading comics....
  7. Glamor and the Camera (Whitestone Books #87, 1968) by Adolphe Barreaux, best known as artist of "Sally the Sleuth" in Spicy Detective Stories. He also did work for DC, Fox and others. He was also an editor and produced this guide to glamour/nude photography for a Whitestone, a division of Fawcett. No comps online currently; last two I saw are now gone, so I am basing this on those asks as I recall. (Was $40) NOW $25!
  8. How about something a little different, maybe up the alley of the 50's men's magazines collectors, or maybe the GGA set?
  9. SOLD! Hector Comics #1 (Key Publications 1953) overall appearance of VG/VG- but cover had clearly been re-glued to the book. Tough book. $50
  10. Shock Suspenstories #11! Thank you Jim! (For anyone who is not familiar with this issue, it is truly a gateway EC book.....if you've never dipped your toe in, it's an affordable read that showcases what they were all about, cover to cover....four classic stories)
  11. A few pages back, Patriot6 inquired about whether I would offer an Archie #1...the next book in NOT that, but it is a tough teen humor #1 and an Archie imitator.....with a headlights cover....
  12. OH geez, thanks for the catch! I didn't mean it that way....I meant that as in "What the heck....I'll offer up my Rip Hunter #1..." Thanks Fifth; I didn't think of it being taken the other way!
  13. SOLD! Shock Suspenstories #11 in the 3.0-3.5 range. Not the most dramatic Johnny Craig cover, but the stories are all top-notch in this one. $50
