  1. Last one tonight coming up, but lots more to shoot. Coming over the next few nights...
  2. Cinderella Love #12 St John painted cover by Richard Curail. (Carail? Who can read it???) classic hair-pulling cat fight scene. VG+ (Was $50) NOW $35
  3. Next up, not you everyday silver age key... Barbie and Ken #1, Dell 1962. GVG (was $50) NOW $30! (or go order a "VG" from Mile High for $195)
  4. SOLD! Here's a coverless, otherwise complete copy of Mr. District Attorney #1 for $20
  5. SOLD! Fantastic Four #11 FR/GD cover split to bottom staple, still attached by bottom staple. First Impossible Man and 1st Willie Lumpkin (interesting fact I remember reading -- Stan and Dan DeCarlo co-created Willie Lumpkin to sell as a newspaper strip. When Dan got the go-ahead for She's Josie, the project died and Stan kept Willie.) $60
  6. Bright white you see sticking out of that St John is micro chamber paper. Both the Treasury and the Strange Terrors have it inserted.
  7. ON HOLD! A Treasury of Comics #1, 1948 St John. OSPG describes as rare. Hardcover over 500 pages; 16 comics bound together without covers. Mopsy, Jane Arden, Abbie & Slats, Abbott and Costello, more. Tough to grade as front cover and first page are attached upside down, but the exposed spine appears factory. While there are tape remnants on the cover, they have nothing to do with holding the cover on. I do not think this was reattached; I think it's a printer error. Either way, it's Fair to Good minus at best. Yet it's better than the copies on offer out there. $300
  8. The other day, in a single-book thread, Rick posted and sold what he rightly described as arguably one of the rarest St Johns. Next up, I will offer what may well be fairly described as the other side of that argument.
  9. Amazing Spider-Man #122 death of the Green Goblin. Presents from the front like VG+ but let's go VG- with that piece out of the back cover. (Was $70) NOW $60
  10. ON HOLD! Strange Terrors #7, St John 100-pager, final issue. Kubert male bondage cover. It was sold to me by an LCS as Fine, and I disagree. While he and I usually agree, I think his GA curve was a little too generous. I'll say more like 5-ish. Note slight tear lower cover cover, near foot. I tried to,capture it close-up from the inside cover as well. Maybe 1/2" long. (Was $225) NOW $200!
  11. Reserved for... Well, it's the second post of the thread, and we do that around here....
  12. It's here. There will be gold, silver, bronze. There will be lots and singles. There will be odd-sized stuff from digests to tabloids, and there will be some ancillary comics-related stuff, I think. Most all of it I have not offered before; precious few reruns that I suspect were missed when first offered. You can check out whenever you like if ya gotta have it ASAP, but it's going to go one for a while, and there will be surprises around every turn. Hang out and have fun! First in thread wins; PM's always welcome. Payment is Money Order or Check; I do not have Paypal. Shipping to U.S. Or Canada is actual; most U.S. shipping will be priority flat rate; I have some Region B boxes where that can help us. If you take all the oddball-shape stuff; don't worry, we'll figure it out balancing secure packaging and reasonable shipping. Don't be listy including the little one in my head. Returns: Sure, just notify me within three days of receipt and get it back to me in the same shape on your dime for refund of purchase price. Ready? Opening with scarce golden age....
  13. Was thinking the same thing when I saw that this morning, William. Congrats to buyer and seller on passing on the stewardship of such a historic book.
