  1. I'm still recovering from that 8.0 Josie 45 you posted a little ways back! There can't be too many higher, can there?
  2. I bought it off the racks as a kid starting with #12, then went back to filling in the first 11. Still have it, will read it end to end eventually before deciding whether I can release it. Definitely gets spotty later on, but it's wacky throughout as I remember.
  3. I think a lot of folks consider 1-102 the core minimum, the Lee/Kirby (and Sinnott mostly) run, IIRC.
  4. I was shocked when I first read it years ago (CBM, maybe?) Yet he's one of the five DC heroes to stay in continuous publication through the superhero contraction that occurred while other genres flourished in the 50's. (Along with the big 3 and Green Arrow). He bounced from title to title but made it from golden to silver age and kept running.
  5. Yep. His first cover appearance is Brave and the Bold 28. Go figure.
  6. Check out the e Gerber website. They have dimensions for all their products listed, including the mylites2's.
  7. I'll say.....the way I read it, even the VW ships for $10...how cool is that?? Couldn't resist
  8. Thank you; I feel the same way about these boards/this community. Just trying to pay it forward.
  9. Thanks to all takers and posters in this thread! All four books claimed -- @batmiesta, @SkOw @EC ed @gino2paulus2 - a veritable MT Rushmore of boardies! Dont forget to PM me a ship-to; I'm still figuring this out but I will probably insert each book in a comic bag and wrap it attractive, sturdy brown paper grocery bags Start managing your wives' expectations now so they don't think you are starting a vintage porn video collection based on the packaging!
  10. #22 thank you Gino, my brother-in-low grade GA appreciation!
  11. And who better to take #30 with the EC cover?!?! Thank you EC Ed!
  12. Thx Jack! And that's half the reason I gotta get 'em outta here -- I can't take looking at those old prices anymore!
  13. #18 LB Cole Superman cover! You're welcome; thank you Matt! Glad it's going to a guy working on a GA Superman run!
