Hey guys haven't done a pick up post in a little while.  But I had to post this! . I literally snapped this picture as soon as I got back from the framers, my first Dell'otto OA (first OA at all, actually!).  I've been wanting to pick up something original by him for quite a while and when I saw his cover for the new ASM 1 I knew I had to have it!  I love his work on black paper, and his use of negative space and lighting effects on it.  And on this particular piece, the not so subtle ASM 300/301 homage made it a no brainer!  I immediately contacted his rep David Ceci in Italy to see if he still had it.  Of course he didn't, it had already been sold! So you can imagine my surprise when I saw the boardie @Sooners151 posted that HE was the owner of the OA in this very thread when he saw it was being turned into a publisher cover! I wasted no time in reaching out to him with a completely unsolicited buy inquiry. Not surprisingly I wasn't the only one to do so, and after a week or so of very friendly and pleasant negotiations, we agreed to a price and I pulled the trigger!  This is a perfect example of what makes the community on these boards so awesome.  I also purchased a copy of the published book from Ebay, and then rushed the pieces to the framer to have it all done up right. I might have gone a little crazy with the whole thing, but screw it! Lol It's my first OA piece, I love it, and I really wanted to make it a nice museum quality piece.  Well anyway this is how it turned out.  Thanks for checking it out and thanks again to Sooners151!

This is a childish response to a reasoned appeal, and you ought to be treated accordingly. Attitudes like yours make this place unpleasant. It's what really deserves strikes. I hope you are able to come to your senses. 
 

Finally able to get my pre-order through TCM for what felt like the first time in ages before they sold out. Happy about that.

Wait, you are fine with demanding a source for an alleged print run number in the case of this Walking Dead variant but cry foul in the Dell'otto thread when I demand the same from you regarding the ASM 667 variant? How does that work?
Wait, so after being shown evidence of the print run via official copy written by the company the produces the Walking Dead book you are content to pivot back to crying foul about the Saga 1 VARIANT print run? A print run, that much like the ASM 667 Dell'otto book, has only been vaguely cited on the internet? Why the double standard? 

Like can you all give your measuring of your Dell Otto ASM 667 e-peens a rest and get back to the actual purpose of this thread?  New cover coming soon (Spectacular Spider-Man 300)
 
 

Except you haven't seen the invoice. If you had you would have taken a picture, gotten a scan, been sent a pdf.

Is that supposed to be some form of "proof?" Unless I missed something, it's 6 pages of people on the internet speculating about the possibility that there were only 100 copies printed. Not 250 as you claim. Please elaborate.
Oh wait, that's the evidence that the damage rumor didn't come from you, but rather an eBay listing from 2013? Color me convinced.

I would love to see this book make a return.  It just seems that Snyder can't finish any of creator owned books lately (thinking Wytches also).
