So far the GoFundMe that is assisting him has broken $10k (haven't checked in a few hours tho. It added at least 4k overnight) but apparently there's not a way to DIRECTLY assist Bill & his family. It's a GoFundMe that is being done essentially thru his church I believe? But it's the primary way that he's receiving assistance. I donated a bit to it last night.
Do you have a link? I'd like to donate, but I couldn't find it.

If I'm buying from an individual, as long as they are packed well I'm good, especially if I'm buying bargain bin level stuff. If they are bagged and boarded, then that's a bonus. When I'm buying from a dealer I expect a little more professionalism out of a, well... professional.

I would start with this list and narrow it down from there:
JLA #200
New Teen Titans #2
Crisis #7
Avengers #196
Infinity Gauntlet #1
Wonder Woman #1
DC Comics Presents #26
JLA Avengers #1 - #4

This may be a stretch but #139. Kitty Pryde joins the X-men, it's the first appearance of Heather Hudson and it's the first brown costume for Wolverine.

I get the 139 - Kitty joins (first in costume?) and 168 - First Madelyne Pryor. Do you like the others just for Kitty stories or is there something more?

I bought a VF copy of Kaluta's Shadow #1. They just mailed it in a manila envelope. No cardboard. No backing board. Not even a poly bag. Just threw it in the manila envelope.
Miraculously, it arrived relatively unscathed.

Is that a stain on the top of the back cover?
It's ink from the printing.

FWIW, I just checked my 5 copies and all of them have the blue Galactus. They are all first prints.

On an episode of Comic Book Men Stan also uses the "I was in Europe at the time and didn't know" when asked about the killing of Gwen Stacy. A claim that Gerry Conway denies. He swears that Stan was there and knew everything.
"I was in Europe" seems to be his fallback.

This just came out today.
A couple spent 800 grand on a Pissarro that had been stolen by the Nazis. A French court ordered that it be returned to the family of the original owner.

I can't believe nobody's mentioned Bone yet.

As a Southerner, that is a preposterous statement. It is passable at best and truly cringe worthy at times.
I wouldn't call it great, but it's about as good/bad as any non-southerner's southern accent.

Interesting...what was the announcement? Anyone?
Rumor is that Sin-Eater is the villain in Season 3 of Daredevil.

I really enjoyed it, mainly because it was only 8 episodes. If it was 13 it would have gotten tedious.
One thing I didn't like was that ...
SpoilerMisty Knight and Colleen Wing didn't get together until the end.

She never showed up in Spider-Man, but she did appear in Defenders #74 - #80.
