  1. Would the 1st Joker Splash from BM #1 go 7 figures? Literal 1st Joker appearance.
  2. So geeked that I was able to pick this page up today. Steve Lieber brought a couple of pages from Whiteout #1 to the Motor City Comic Con.
  3. Does anyone doubt that’s a 7 figure Page right now?
  4. http://www.splashpageart.com/newsdetail.asp?n=91 http://www.splashpageart.com/ArtistGalleryTitles.asp?ArtistId=84&Ti=Charlie_Adlard
  5. It’s unusual behavior for them. It signifies they need cash for something. And do they usually sell through Heritage? The sheer volume of stuff indicates to me that they may be using consignments to pay off a purchase. I have nothing more than that.
  6. So what piece did the Donnelly’s buy that they are paying off with all these consignments? Any guesses?
  7. No kidding. I'd rather have that Kirby TOS Cap panel page where he's doing classic Kirby fighting for one third the price.
  8. Wow. That Amethyst #1 cover went for $2600 with BP. I was hoping to snag it for under $2k. Oh well. Congrats to the new owner!
  9. I'm interested to see where that Blackhawk cover hammers. Especially with that cruddy added title that isn't reflective of the original book. UPDATE: $5700 with buyers premium. Way more than it would have gone for before the Spielberg movie announcement.
  10. Damn, these prices. I am pretty convinced my Thor title splash would easily clear $4k right now.
  11. Cap #155 Cover bidding war was sizzling. Hammered at $23,900 with the juice.
  12. We know the Cover exists. It was on display recently.
  13. It wasn't that great of a page. On another note, it seems like the Donnelleys just made a major Heritage purchase and are paying it off with consignments.
  14. Wow. That ASM Annual #20 Iron Man splash went for $3800, minus the juice.
  15. Oh, I generally agree. But, given the specific character arc in the film, and this page featuring Thanos being a fatherly figure to Gamora, might be a little undervalued, IMHO. But, well see what it finally hammers at.
  16. The cover to Brave and the Bold #199 went for $13k. It's a great cover
  17. $1700 for that unpublished ARRGH! cover, not including BP. Wow.
  18. Crazy bidding war on that Yoaka Amano Elektra painting.
  19. Query: Given what happened in the Infinity War movie, and the MCU, is this page significantly undervalued? https://comics.ha.com/itm/original-comic-art/angel-medina-and-bob-almond-warlock-and-the-infinity-watch-9-page-14-original-art-marvel-1992-/a/7187-94662.s?ic4=GalleryView-Thumbnail-071515 Also, what do we think of this item: Dave Gibbon's cover for the Black Freighter prop comic used in the Watchmen film? Seems like this is also currently not tracking for a high price. https://comics.ha.com/itm/original-comic-art/dave-gibbons-watchmen-movie-tales-of-the-black-freighter-prop-comic-cover-original-art-dc-warner-br/a/7187-94564.s?ic4=GalleryView-Thumbnail-071515
  20. What was the buzz in the room when the Frazetta painting hammered?
