Thanks for the feedback. It was a 9.0, white pages, with a few pressable dings holding it back. Sent it in to be pressed and regraded. Came back 8.5, unpressed.

Maybe got dinged for the printers ink on the back?

precisely what occurred. The ink was a dot yellowish/ with red that was about 1/16th in diameter. A drop/ drip if you will and in my mind a production defect but nothing more.

  2. I would suggest checking other sites that sell raw books. There are quite few of them and many advertise in Overstreet. The bay is dangerous with the constant disclaimer, "I'm not a professional grader but I play one one ebay. This comic looks just super nice."

The observation to check the sold listings is spot on.

@Glassman10 noted: Tanning, spine stresses, and scuffed upper spine ... AND... I would add, top edge heavily stressed front and back covers, large (4-5”) color-breaking crease lower right FC, cover slightly pulled at both staples.  Hope this helps...

That's the ten dollar version. I only provided the $4.50 cent version of graders sniping.  Grading in the 6.0 range is actually rather difficult. I missed the color break. Good eye.
