  1. You can use UPS to ship to CGC, but you have to use the actual physical location address, and not the P.O. Box address.
  2. I just bought 4 CGC graded X-Men comics from Eddie. He responds to questions quickly, and sells quality merchandise. He even gave me a free comic box! Thank you! Jeff Harvey
  3. jharvey feedback thread Here is the feedback thread for jharvey. I also go by jeffharv on eBay where I have over 1500 feedback with 100% positive rating. I'm not a dealer, but just use eBay to sell my extras/duplicates: http://www.ebay.com/usr/jeffharv Thanks, Jeff Harvey
  4. I just purchased a buy it now price of $2.50 on a silver age comic, worth around $150.00, a few days ago. I'd post it here, but I surely don't want grayzr, or other boardies, contacting the seller! The comic arrived in the mail and is around 7.5 grade.
  5. Well, it's a good thing that I only ended up paying $30 for it after the insurance payout!
  6. I bought this Daredevil #3 off Ebay. The seller put the comic into a semi-rigid, open ended, comic book bag, and then put tape over the open end. As you can see, the comic slid up during shipping, came in contact with the tape, and tore off part of the top edge of the front cover. I think the comic was roughly 7.0 grade before the damage. How badly will the piece torn off of the top edge of the cover affect the grade? Needless to say, I'm very sad that this previously nice comic got ruined by a seller that doesn't know how to package comics. It was insured, so the insurance should cover the loss in value, but I'm still waiting for a final resolution.
  7. I understand leaving the negative feedback to start with. However, once the seller finally corrected his mistake, I think you should remove the negative feedback. Leaving a negative there permanently should only be done for a seller who refuses to ever fix the issue. No need to leave it there just out of spite, IMO.
  8. CGC just shipped 26 silver age comics back to me. They should arrive in the next few days. While I'm very tempted to look at the grades online, I am going to wait until the boxes get here so it can be like Christmas when they arrive. Hopefully it will be the good type of surprise and not the purple label type of surprise.
  9. You definitely want to get this one dry cleaned and pressed. Most of that dirt on the back cover can be cleaned up.
  10. PGM Avengers #43 I need some help with grading this one. It looks very nice. - There are a few small color breaking creases below the 12 cents box, but I believe it was caused by the paper rollers during the production process. - Tiny crease on the bottom right corner, front cover. - Staples are clean. - Very glossy. - There is some tanning on the pages/covers. - Looks to be the start of some foxing along the top edge of the back cover. - Name stamp on the first page.
  11. Well, it does look like someone sat a drink on the Thing and Mr. Fantastic. Also, is that a 2 inch tear above the Thing?
  12. Avengers #22 CGC 9.2 ow-w X-Men #105 CGC 9.8 ow-w ,
  13. What to do with the label after I crack out of CGC case? I cracked a CGC comic out of the case. How do I get the CGC serial number removed from the census? Can I just email CGC a picture of the label/serial #? Do I need to mail in the label to CGC? Thanks, Jeff
  14. Great seller. Good communication, good packaging, and trustworthy for high dollar deals. I would buy from again.
  15. Incredible Hulk 102-474 What about Incredible Hulk #1 - 6?
  16. I see coasttocoastcomics is already on the list. To add to the comments on this seller, the worst comic deal I ever made on Ebay was due to this seller. He was selling a Daredevil #2, claiming it was 9.0 grade, and that he was an "Overstreet Price Guide advisor", "CGC dealer" etc. trying to sound like he is a professional grader. When I got the comic, I could see a crease on the bottom right corner that wasn't really visible in the pictures, but I thought it might be able to get pressed out. Anyway, I sent the comic to CGC to get both pressed and graded and it came back 7.0 grade. I contacted coasttocoastcomics to let them know how severely overgraded this comic was and asked if he was willing to work with me on either a return or partial refund, since I basically overpaid for this comic by at least $200. His reply was, tough luck, not my problem.
