  1. I think the concern is that the auction house can see what your max bid is, and then they can go in and bid a few dollars under your max bid just to drive up the price.
  2. I sent in a silver age ASM #42 that I thought would grade 9.6 via the Express tier. It ended up grading CGC 9.8 and they bumped it up to the Walkthrough tier. I was pleasantly surprised.
  3. Seriously. I wouldn't be surprised if over half the people on these forums just skip past all his posts without reading them.
  4. X-factor #6 $75 each (both copies) Red Hulk #15A $25 each (x1) Red Hulk #16A $40 each (x1)
  5. Looks like damage caused during shipping to CGC. I doubt this damage is CGC's fault.
  6. Actually, it is only 28% if you are already in a tax bracket that is higher than 28%. If you are in a tax bracket lower than 28%, then the tax rate for your collectible sale will be in your lower tax bracket rate (for example, 15% rate). So you pay the lower of 28% or your marginal ordinary income tax rate.
  7. I have to admit that if the final episode reveals another Loki to be in control of the TVA instead of Kang, I will be disappointed and it will massively lower my expectations for all future Disney+ shows.
  8. Good seller and quick shipment. Thank you.
  9. Good transaction. Worked out a payment plan (I was the seller), and everything went well.
  10. Yes, I just sent in some comics in the Express tier with the box marked "EX" on all sides, and they did get opened, pressed, and graded very quickly.
  11. We just completed a 5-figure trade deal, and everything went smoothly. Comic was well packaged, quickly shipped, and with good communication. Thank you.
  12. If they made "Era" a required field, then this may actually work out eventually. A vast amount of listings don't have Era populated.
  13. It must not be mandatory, because I had to edit about half of my existing listings to add the "era" to them, since it was missing.
  14. Accepting payment by PayPal only $10 shipping for CGC comics (within US) I will generally only ship within the United States. First is the winner. An unconditional take it wins over a take it pending pics/PM/questions/etc. No probies or HOSers Returns accepted within a reasonable time frame of a month or so If you have any questions send me a PM My Ebay user ID is jeffharv and I have over 2400 feedback with a 100% positive rating My kudos thread: Green Lantern #59 CGC 7.0 $800 SOLD
  15. You aren't typically going to get any higher than a 5.5 with a crease that goes the full length of the cover.
  16. Marvel Super Heroes Secret Wars #1 is clearly the 1st full appearance of the Beyonder. He appears in energy form, he uses his power to transport many of the Marvel characters away from Earth, he speaks, he destroys a galaxy, he forms a new planet, he even blasts Galactus knocking him unconscious, kicking off one of the best Marvel storylines of the 1980's. It also has the distinction of being a #1 issue. Secret Wars II was a horrible storyline that was just painful to read, where goofball Beyonder forms a body and walks the Earth to try to better understand humans. No comparison whatsoever. Marvel Super Heroes Secret Wars #1 is clearly the comic to own, with a huge potential of blowing up in value if Disney ever makes a Secret Wars movie. And by the way, it is already blowing up in value over the last few months.
