Will there be any Archie

I was thinking of two other angry beauty contestants....anyone else?

Not sure if anyone else collects like this, and to be frank I don't always follow this as I stray from 'the path' regularly, although rarely outside of Archie. I try to break down my Archie run by 10s. 1-9, 10-19, 20-29, etc.. One of my favourite groups of ten would be the 30s, 30-39. I love those Ray gill covers. This year I decided to work on upgrading my set to a 4.5 minimum. I have already had to agree to 4.0 on a few, but both look much better than the grade and I was, therefore, happy to have them. Here is what I have accomplished so far this year (only in my 30s quest, not the rest) I threw 29 in there because who doesn't like 29?: Big shout out to @thirdgreenham for helping me with most of these I long ago decided to try to upgrade everything to a 4.5 minimum. I have not always followed this and as you can see the outcome isn't what I had set out for. Having said this, both 29 and 35, to me, look the part. Had it not been for the slightly brittle pgs on 35, it would be there, and the 29 may one day be re-subbed. The book I am least happy with that I will likely look to upgrade at some point is the 39. Such a great cover! Having reflected on my self decreed minimum of 4.5 I feel like such things have boxed me in and really hindered me when looking to add raw books. I have thus relied more and more on slabs to guarantee my minimum, but likely passed on a book I needed multiple times since it was raw and I didn't have it 'in hand' to asses. moving forward I think I will return to raw and try to sub my own, TBD I guess. The thing that has actually prevented me from buying books I wanted/needed this year the most has been the global shipping program on eBay. There have been so many books that I have really wanted to jump on, but I am unable to buy books that use GSP, since for the buyer it is a scam. I do have a complete raw set of the 30s as well, and I may sub a few I think make the grade, but they just look so nice slabbed ! Looking forward to completing this set over the rest of the year. Any chance you have a cover for Archie 8 or a coverless Archie 7 kicking around in your parts box ?!

Wowza!! Some of those must have taken a while to find in grade. 31 in 9.2

On that note, I am in need of a cover for an Archie 8.
