  1. Simpsons Comics, Futurama comics, and anything Power Rangers!
  2. I recently got back an ASM 265, which graded at 9.8. It had notes, I was shocked, and the one entry simply read 'very, very light spine wear in one area.' I assumed that I was that close to a 9.9 sure feels like it, the book is a beauty!
  3. Market that to cougars and you'll make your first million my friend. Your statement has late night infomercial written all over it!
  4. Well have you talked to the LCS yet? I read a lot of assumptions, but nothing concrete. Call the LCS and see what the heck is going on and what he/she intends to do about it.
  5. Sucks man. Hope your LCS is awesome and goes the extra mile to make it right for you. Perhaps he had the shipment insured while in transit?
  6. To a different time zone? Sleep would be nice while your three day events are going on
  7. Guys and gal, What needed to be said in this thread was said long ago and everyone that needed to see it has seen it and made their own choice, all of the information is here. I know I have. Beating a dead horse is doing no one any good here. This discussion has strayed mightily from our beloved hobby of comic books and has now pitted good standing boardies, who I enjoy chatting with and who's posts I enjoy reading, against one another. Lets all just take a breath and stop bickering, unless that bickering is about which superhero is the best. Solar - when is the next sale
  8. I see. So you're thinking a .8 downgrade for the sig? A little light no?
  9. I see what you're saying. It's not a fold on the corner, but a bend. Strange, a press should have taken care of that (I'm no expert, but I think it should anyway). Perhaps the LCS owner elected to take the quick press route and it didn't fix it? Also, the fact that your other book has the same damage would essentially prove it was due to poor packaging/handling. In sum, number one on the 'who to blame' hierarchy should be the LCS..... Doesn't CGC note that on the label though? Something like "Jimmy Linguini written on the cover in ink" ?
  10. Really cool Archie piece. Glad it was rescued. I hope it does make the cut
  11. Awesome! Are you going to be framing this?
  12. Right, "upon shipping to CGC." Evidently the LCS did a lousy packing job and your corner got bent along the way. How can CGC be responsible for that? Secondly, as noted above, a press would not fix the CBing folds on the corner you show above. I don't know if that book is printed like that or not, but I see CBing fold on the corner... I would be more upset about the LCS's lousy pack job because the corner is not fixable, sending the slab back to get the right coloured label is...
  13. Who packaged your book for shipping and how is the better question to ask fella.
  14. Very cool How the hay did you get into that....and where do you find them?
  15. My Dollarama didn't have it ...but it is next door to the good will store and I bid on a Colonel Sanders piggy bank that was in the window
  16. Funny how the box meant something to you, enough to keep it anyhow. I felt the same way about the McPizza box and I also kept the box from the East coast of Canada where I 'enjoyed' a McLobster sandwich.
  17. As soon as I am able, picture will be sent your way! Those pizzas were freaking good too haha.
  18. Awesome! How much did that bad boy set you back?!
