  1. Man, that is a beautiful 5.5! (thumbs u
  2. Most of my Uncle Scrooge comics are original owner but only a few ducks. Great cover and a great story One of the few times that Barks's editors asked him to make changes to a submitted story. The original opening was considered to be too scary. It's my wife's favorite Barks cover. She ALMOST let me morgage the house to buy the painting. Thanks for posting the image!
  3. Hi Marty, I love looking at your collection; thanks for posting! Quick question: Do you have a Donald Duck #26? If so, can you post a picture? Thanks!
  4. I doubt anyone complains if you post this in every thread on the boards. Thanks!
  5. Does silver start in '58 or '61? Oh well, I'm still posting it!
  6. If your definition of "Golden Age" is a little loose, this qualifies! Free with my eBay bucks!
  7. Correct. Weird and I love it! Never seen one before and I probably will never see another one for sale.
  8. This one always stood out to me also. Marty, It's been great seeing so many cool books from your collection since you got the scanner. Hope to see plenty more. That is one cool cover!
  9. This hobby is going to be the death of me; always something new to want!
  10. This is my favorite WDC&S cover! (thumbs u
  11. Been wanting a nice white-paged reading copy for a while. Thanks Mr. Bedrock!
  12. Thank you. It's a gerber 6 - I didn't know that until I just looked it up. I thought almost all of the duck books would be a 3 or 4. According to Gerber this one is tougher than those around it. Always a thrill to get anything above a 5. Nice book! (thumbs u
  13. First Scrooge in WDCS and a great Kelly cover to boot! And a great absurdist Barks story -- one of my faves. (thumbs u I've wanted a reading copy for a while but just never pulled the trigger. I'm a Scrooge fanatic so this is the bomb.
