  1. I request that these Daring Comics have their scores adjusted. Daring Comics #9 1973790013 sold for $9,000 in 9.0 January of 2022 Daring Comics #10 1973789010 sold for $36000 in 9.8 January of 2022 Daring Comics #11 1973789011 sold for $33600 in 9.8 January of 2022 Daring Comics #12 1973789012 sold for $26,400 in 9.6 January of 2022 I believe they could all be adjusted to 36000 points in 9.8 but of course leave that to your judgment. Thanks! Scores adjusted per Overstreet Access 9.2
  2. Speakin' of Stilty goodness. I picked this up from @nearmint. I'd sold my old 9.6 to finance a move recently so it was time to find a replacement. My old copy was off-white so I got a page quality upgrade!
  3. My wife definitely agrees with you. She prefers Mummy's Ring by far to Pirates Gold. I think Mummy's Ring is pure barks while Pirate's Gold is a collaboration between Bob Karp, Barks, Hannah, and other Disney animators. Has certain Barks' touches but you can feel or see other influences on the art.
  4. Guy filming gorilla rampage to guy stopping gorilla rampage
  5. I kinda wonder if there was a warehouse find on this book. Its not a rare book by any means and even in this grade it is still sub-$1000. Robot, mad scientist, and bondage? Seems like a steal to me!
  6. You can still get this one in lower grades for under a grand. Got this years ago off of eBay for around $15 in eBay bucks.
  7. WoW! Great book! Looks like a solid spine for a 1.8.
  8. Well, that's cool. Anyone know if there will be any regularly published Disney comics coming up? I miss my fix.
  9. species unknown to a vaguely related brother/son/distant cousin?
  10. By far my favorite Schomburg of that era. I have other favorites of his work for his pulp(ish), small ww II figs, licensed properties, and Xela eras. Since others are posting theirs :
  11. I read mainly the reprints. I love the old newsprint but I'm always afraid of the fingerprint smudge.
