  1. Thank you. Back cover is just as nice so I'm thinking its gotta be water damage or something on the interior. Might get the notes.
  2. Also picked this up. Kinda looks like a bugs bunny cover, a wise man told me.
  3. Got this in. A rarity for Heritage, the colors on this book are actually better in hand.
  4. I watched Ducktales in College. Does that count?
  5. In my time period, early to late 70s, Woolworth had lots of Charlton and Disney. If memory serves they only carried 2 for x cents or 3 for x cents bags of other publishers. I remember finding one store in Las Cruces that went crazy on bags of Marvel comics. They had easily a thousand of these bags but there were only two or 3 combinations of books. In particular I remember that Power Man Iron Fist #66 was in the bags. I picked up 10 because it was a hot book at that time. This would have been 1980/81.
  6. That lines up with what I remember so I have to agree! I forgot about Woolworths. In addition to Disney they also had Charlton and Dell TV comics. The old 5 and Dime also had Disneys in addition to comic bags that had 2 issues of Star Trek.
  7. There's been a couple All Selects posted but not the run.
  8. Yeah, I remember seeing Casper and Nightmare along with Marvel and DC mags at places like Circle K and 7/11 but never Disney.
  9. I know, right? Its odd but you rarely see any of the Disney books in old pictures of newsstands. I wonder if they were distributed differently? I know when I was growing up I could only find them in Gambles and Walgreens.
  10. Awesome that you got to enjoy comics with your dad. I'd trade a tape pull on a comic to have had that experience with my father.
  11. Really want a nice copy of this book. I love this cover!
  12. Nice! I love local or small store finds like these.
  13. Wow! You are a magician for having pulled this id out of a hat! Well done!
  14. And that is also why the tracking takes so long to update. The package is still at its last location; it only moves when someone can and will take responsibility for it. That can take days. Registered Mail is the safest but it can take forever due to its security requirements.
  15. Here is a reworked panel from "Go Slowly, Sands of Time" preliminary that I picked up.
  16. I always wanted a nice copy of this one too.
