Overstret Price Bulletin Winter 1988 - brings me back to my youth Groo Special #1 is online with current census numbers as with "only" 65 it has the lowest 9.8 population of any of the 1980's Groo #1's "H" meant hot, which back in the day meant my LCS would quickly boost price above guide on those. -

To celebrate Destroyer Duck #1's going rate now dropping further into the reach of True Groo fans, the final page from the story: -
Have some circa 1985 Star Trek's that were my late Dads. 2 are still sealed. Would not sell them for anything!

Destroyer Duck 1 9.8; 1500+ early in 2022 now barely within sniffing distance of 350! One yesterday at regular ebay auction fell short of 340 Simpsons 1 Welch 9.8; near 2000 in 2021. Barely scrapped 300 ImJan 2023 at moment seems to have stabilized ~350. Both now probably at Max levels where they should have been organically from 2019-present. -
his Invaders is nice for those for those that prefer their heroes too look as if in middle off heroin withdrawal.

Except on outliers a 9.4 on a 1992 book is pointless for ROI. perhaps even 9.6 as well. But yeah the math is fine for X axis but Y needs to be pointed to desirability Beyond me though on how to arrive at that number

Imagine if Ann Margrock had appeared on the cover of Gold Key Flintstones 17 rather than just the interiors

16 months later and earlier today on eBay a nice 9.8w with what looked to be a perfect wrap failed to even garner $340. While still above 2019 levels, as i predicted and have mentioned in past, the whole animation exploration rights nonsense always was and remains a true nothing burger. The Great News is current DD1 FMV is now more inline with the budgets of many more True Groo Collectors/fans rather than mendicant flippers and speculators. Cheese Dip for all!
